HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY!
I know it’s now customary to post a carousel of women who inspire me - amazing scientists, entrepreneurs, trailblazers. I DO appreciate and look up to so many women, I value their hard work, their focus and their drive.
But this year I raise my glass to ME & YOU - mothers, daughters, wives, friends and family. Life as a woman is never easy, from the minute I wake I am thinking what I need to do that day, it’s the mundane stuff that is the most overwhelming- what’s for tea? Who needs picking up? Did my child remember their PE kit? Have I updated everyone’s passport? (I often wake in the night to write this stuff down!)
More recently I’ve been worried about my mum and my dog… it never ends - and add in working 3 jobs and having 3 kids it’s a LOT! 🥴
So I am THANKFUL for myself today. For the amazing PBG community- my friends - who all hold me up and inspire me to keep going!
Life is hard - I regularly fail - but it’s ok. Cause I am definitely doing my best and that’s enough. Gx

Half Term… I am supposed to have the week off.. but I’ve already added an emergency clinic to Wednesday and I appear to be spending most of my days driving everybody around.
You will know I am not one for sitting around so I definitely have plans. They mainly involve laundry reorganisation and tidying up but I guess that puts me into my happiest of moods and after the wet cold dark winter I really need to do some self-care.!
So far, it’s been mainly about Flo & netball - 2wins this weekend and then I had to drive to Loughborough to drop her off for her course. Luckily, this meant I got to see my mum and dad, which is always so nice. The drive home was okay, but I am dreading tomorrow’s pick up.
I missed Jesse playing rugby but heard he did well. Both boys have lots of golf on so let’s hope it stays dry. Have a great week and be sure to check out the new Love Your Body Challenge ❤️💕

Winter Sculpt is a four-week Pilates & weights based fitness journey designed to keep you strong, balanced, and energised through the winter months. Each week follows the same simple structure so you can build consistency and see results.

You’ll complete:
• One weight-based strength class to build muscle and power
• One Pilates Sculpt class to tone, lengthen, and improve core control
• One recovery stretch class to support mobility, flexibility, and rest
• An optional 15–20 minute cardio blast to boost endurance and heart health

Join me welcoming the sunrise on the shortest day from here we move forward out of the dark and into the light. Longer days promise positivity and energy. Class opens at 7:40am and begins at 7:45. We will be stretching and mobilising our bodies in a very mindful way, I really look forward to this class with you. It will be made available to PBG+ members on catchup. Wishing you all wellness, happiness and light for this winter solstice! 🙏❄️

Merry Christmas PBG!
Love our Thursday night classes. From 7.15pm for all body and the 8.10 for our Power Advanced class we have so much fun! This week the advanced class knocked out the entire Classical Pilates repertoire - 34 exercises! 🥵
So wonderful to have such a great community of fabulous people.

SPORTS PHYSIO! 25years of pitchside physio work. Madness to think I started as a young newly qualified Physio - scared to run on in case I couldn’t fix the problem!
I’ve worked 100s of matches - at many levels- men and women! I’ve put shoulders, elbows and kneecaps back into joint.. stitched heads and faces… taped 1000s of thumbs ankles and shoulders - fallen numerous times in the mud - including when 6months pregnant (v embarrassing)
I’ve been frozen 🥶 sunburnt 😎 and enjoyed a helicopter 🚁 ride with a trauma team too!
Love the variety sports work offers.
I now physio for my rugby playing kids!
