Orpheus is an independent specialist college in Surrey that increases the confidence and skills of young disabled adults through the performing arts. We believe that every young disabled person should have the same opportunities as their non-disabled peers. We offer a holistic learning programme, a supported housing scheme and a domiciliary support service.

One of the ways we help the young people at to build up their independence and confidence is through regular trips to the local pubs in Godstone and Bletchingley.

These trips are fun AND practical as students gain experience ordering and paying for their food and drinks independently, as well as planning their journey and routes to and from the pub. Not to mention the food is also a very tasty and rewarding part! 🍽️

📺 Another season of O-TV may have come and gone, but we don’t stop celebrating the great work of our Company Day groups who make it all happen, who get together every Thursday all year round to work on all things Production.

🎵 Here are some shots of the Music group, who have been using instruments like drums, piano, guitar, and their voices. They’ve been working on keeping in rhythm, tempo and tune, and using harmonies and sound textures to bring each O-TV scene to life even further.

A thank you and well done to student Lucy from the Marketing Company Day group who as well as taking these photos and helping with the caption, has done excellent work on lots of our Company Day and O-TV posts over the last few months! 👏
