Bridgewater Day Care is a home away from home, local community centre for adults. We offer a 2 course cooked lunch & snacks and drinks throughout the day .

We provide daily activities, socialisation, nutritious meals, and personal care, all from the comfort of the day centre 💙

Visit us today! Bridgewater Day Care Centre is open Monday-Friday 10am -4pm and is a home away from home for older people and those living with a form of Dementia in Golborne, Wigan. We offer a friendly, fun, community atmosphere for our Clients with support from our well-tra

ined team and partner agencies. Specialising in support for the elderly and those living with a form of memory loss, the service allows older people to create new friendships, engage in hobbies and activities both past and new, maintain mental stimulation and much more! Giving family carers respite and the peace of mind that their loved ones are in excellent hands.

We are excited to be recruiting for a support worker to join our vibrant and friendly day centre in Golborne.

🗓️ 2 days per week
⏰ 9.30am - 4.30pm

Your key responsibilities will be to:
💙 Deliver high quality care to our clients
💙 Attend to personal care where needed, including washing, bathing and toiletting
💙 Supporting clients with meals and drinks
💙 Supporting clients to persue hobbies and activities

Last week our clients at Bridgewater Day Care enjoyed a wonderful day out at Pennington Flash, to enjoyed the lovely surroundings and socialise in the fresh air! 🌿🌳

With huge thanks to Murphy Group who accompanied us on the trip, it was a magical day making new memories in such a beautiful setting. We hope all our clients who joined us had a wonderful day!
