Bridgewater Day Care is a home away from home, local community centre for adults. We offer a 2 course cooked lunch & snacks and drinks throughout the day .

We provide daily activities, socialisation, nutritious meals, and personal care, all from the comfort of the day centre 💙

Visit us today! Bridgewater Day Care Centre is open Monday-Friday 10am -4pm and is a home away from home for older people and those living with a form of Dementia in Golborne, Wigan. We offer a friendly, fun, community atmosphere for our Clients with support from our well-trained team and partner agencies. Specialising in support for the elderly and those living with a form of memory loss, the service allows older people to create new friendships, engage in hobbies and activities both past and new, maintain mental stimulation and much more! Giving family carers respite and the peace of mind that their loved ones are in excellent hands.

With live music, dancing, Halloween treats, fancy dress and much more, please join us for a fun-filled afternoon!

Music = therapy 🤩🎵🕺

At Bridgewater Day Care we love nothing more than a sing along or a dance to our favourite music! Whether that be the swinging sixties, or the roaring forties, we love filling our day centre with familiar sounds of our clients favourite songs.

We often have live musicians, singers and bands visit us to provide some amazing entertainment for our clients, where they can enjoy a sing-along and a boogie to their favourite artists including Elvis, Frank Sinatra or Ella Fitzgerald.

Music not only provides joy and happiness, it also provides a chance to socialise, engage with one another and enjoy some light exercise whilst waltzing around the dance floor.🪩

There are so many benefits of listening to music, it really it true what they say - music can be truly therapeutic!

Happy Monday! What's on at Bridgewater Day Care this week?

This week is all about looking after yourself, with our theme of Health & Well-being 💚🍃🫧

We'll be hosting a variety of activities, including:
💚 Hands and Feet massage
💚 Hair styling
💚 Nail painting
💚 Seated yoga
💚 Quiet meditation

We'll be encouraging our clients to take some time for themselves and focus of their own well-being. We look forward to seeing everyone this week!

Your key responsibilities will be to:
💙 Deliver high quality care to our clients

💙 Supporting clients with meals and drinks
