Bridgewater Day Care is a home away from home, local community centre for adults. We offer a 2 course cooked lunch & snacks and drinks throughout the day .

We provide daily activities, socialisation, nutritious meals, and personal care, all from the comfort of the day centre 💙

Visit us today! Bridgewater Day Care Centre is open Monday-Friday 10am -4pm and is a home away from home for older people and those living with a form of Dementia in Golborne, Wigan. We offer a friendly, fun, community atmosphere for our Clients with support from our well-trained team and partner agencies. Specialising in support for the elderly and those living with a form of memory loss, the service allows older people to create new friendships, engage in hobbies and activities both past and new, maintain mental stimulation and much more! Giving family carers respite and the peace of mind that their loved ones are in excellent hands.

We had such a lovely time getting creative and making our own flower pots! 🎨🪴 Everyone put in so much effort, and the results were absolutely beautiful 🌼

Today we enjoyed a lovely creative craft session making colourful gnome decorations. 🎨✨

Everyone got involved painting the hats, choosing bright colours, and adding the finishing touches with fluffy beards and pom-pom hats. It was wonderful to see the concentration, creativity, and smiles around the table as our clients brought their little gnomes to life.

🎨Activities like these are a great way to encourage creativity, support fine motor skills, and most importantly have fun together in a relaxed and friendly environment. 💛

Today we enjoyed a wonderful flower arranging activity together 🌼🌸

Our clients spent the morning creating beautiful floral displays using a variety of colourful flowers.

Activities like flower arranging are not only enjoyable, but they also provide many benefits for people living with dementia.
