❄️🌿It was a cold one today!🌿❄️

Two schools : one with extreme mud & one with thick snow.

The children did extremely well today and we had lots to do to keep us busy and warm!

But more than ever, it just confirmed, that appropriate clothing is sooooooooo important!

Clothing choices for Forest school can either make it the best or worst experience in this type of weather. So let’s make it the best!

Are you glad that you left teaching?

What made you leave your teaching job?

Becoming a Forest School Practitioner is the most terrifying yet best decision I have ever made.
I loved my role as a teacher but I felt that the dynamics of classroom based learning was not how we as educators should be teaching children.

I taught children whose life experiences were coming to school and going home. Yet every day these children sit behind desks and become more and more disconnected from what is really important.

That’s when I decided that I needed to take the huge jump and do what I knew was worth so much more beyond the norms of school education.

🍂🪵We’ve had a wonderfully busy week🪵🍂

We celebrated World Nursery Rhyme Week with lots of singing around the fire, themed crafts & activities at our Stay & Play session & nurseries.

Then a week of tool skills at our schools using bow saws & hand drills.

Each child ticket includes Forest School entry for one adult and one child, 2 x professional photos, festive crafts & activities & campfire treats.

Additional photos can be purchased directly from Charlotte Riding Photography at £5 per photo.
Please note that all photos will be uploaded to an online platform that will be shared with the families attending the session. Here you will be able to select your two photos and any additional if you wish to do so.
