Sadly announcing on 24th March 2026, in Selby Hospital, with his family at his side, peacefully passed away, aged 86 years, of Carlton.
Dearly loved husband of Pat. Treasured father to Julie and Mandy. A much adored grandfather and great grandfather.
A private funeral service will be held, as was Ken’s wishes. The family will take time together privately to celebrate and remember Ken and his life.

Sadly announcing on 29th March 2026. Peacefully in St Leonard’s Hospice, York, aged 74 years, of Gowdall.
Dearly loved husband of Patricia. Treasured father to Joanne and Tim, Robert and Sarah, Craig and Nikki and Faye and John. Cherished grandfather to Anni, Grace, Rosalee, Sophie and Victor.

Sad to announce on 20th March 2026, in Scunthorpe Hospital, aged 42 years, of Goole, formerly Rawcliffe.
Treasured daughter to the late David and Maureen. Adored mum to Jordon, Keisha and Alfie. Cherished grandma to Emily and Lillie. Much loved sister to Tracey, Nicola and Michael. Much missed by her partner Russ.
Funeral service at St James’ Church, Rawcliffe on Thursday 9th April, 12 noon, followed by interment in the cemetery. Flowers welcome. Donations, if desired, for the UK Sepsis Trust and Rawcliffe Church. Afterwards at the Jemmy Hirst, Rawcliffe. Black, or colourful attire is welcome.

On 12th February 2026, in Snaith Hall Care Home, aged 94 years, of Cheesman's Farm, West Cowick. Beloved husband of the late Joan, dear dad of David, Frazer and Sue, and a loving grandad and great grandad.
Funeral service at Holy Trinity Church, Cowick on Friday 10th April, 12 noon followed by interment in the churchyard. Donations in Henry’s memory will go to Holy Trinity Church, Cowick. Reception afterwards at The Ship Inn, West Cowick.

On 17th March 2026 peacefully passed away in Snaith Hall Care Home, aged 89 years, of Hensall. Hensall Church Warden and legendary Hensall Cricket Club tea lady.
Dearly loved wife of the late Norman. Much loved mum to Wayne and Glynn, loving mother-in-law to Julie and treasured grandma to Abbie.
Funeral service at St Paul’s Church, Hensall on Thursday 2nd April, 12.30pm, followed by a private cremation at Pontefract Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, for Hensall Church and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Something pink in memory of Marion would be welcome. Afterwards at The Bell & Crown, Snaith.

One of life’s strongest souls sadly passed away on 28th January 2026, in Doncaster Hospital aged just 51 years, of Great Heck, formerly Hensall.
Much loved and treasured partner to Peter. Dearly loved mother to Brooke and Keira. Beloved daughter to Carmen and a dear, dear friend to many.
Funeral service at Pontefract Crematorium on Wednesday 4th March, 1pm. Purple is Lorraine’s colour of choice. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, for Cancer Research, MacMillan Cancer Support and Stray2me. Afterwards all welcome at The King’s Croft, Pontefract.

Sadly passed away on 31st January 2026, aged 71 years, of Rawcliffe. Dearly loved and missed by Tom and all Jacqui’s family.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at St James’s Church, Rawcliffe on Thursday 26th February at 11am, following a private service of committal at Memoria Crematorium, Barnby Dun. No flowers please. Donations in lieu, if desired for St James’s Church and The Dogs Trust. Afterwards, where all are welcome at The Jemmy Hirst, Rawcliffe.

Angela SLATER,
Sadly passed away on 3rd February 2026, in Hull Royal Hospital with her adoring family at her side, aged 70 years, of Carlton.
She leaves behind her loving and loved Sheena, Andrew, Rachael, Chantelle, Hazel, Kristopher and her youngest Hayden. A loving sister to Helen and cherished by the brightest lights of her life in her 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dearly missed by her family, all her friends and her neighbours.
Her funeral service will be held at Memoria Crematorium, Barnby Dun, DN31DL on Thursday 26th February, 1pm. Flowers were one of Angela’s greatest passions and are welcome. Donations to the Magnolia Cancer Care Unit at York hospital are also welcome.

Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side on 31st January 2026 in Doncaster Hospital aged 80 years, of Lowgate Farm, Balne. Dearly loved husband to Christine. Much loved father to Andrew, James and Steven. Dear father-in-law to Sylvia and Beth. Loved Grandad of George, Harriet, Shannon, Aoife and Eithne. Brother to John, Geoff, David and the late Robert.
A Memorial service will be held at Pollington cm Balne Church on Friday 27th February, 12 noon following a private service of committal at Pontefract Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations gratefully received in lieu of flowers to Pollington cm Balne Church and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
