Wedding, Farewell and Event Floristry.

A WHOLE YEAR since I was at New Craven Hall and Temple Newsam House for Claire and Dean. My world travelling couple wanted flowers everywhere, so we hung foliage from the ceiling, designed flowers on a giant antique urn, created an explosion of dahlia for the top table and finished the reception with dots of flowers to complete the look. The mother of the bride made lovely pew ends to fit the theme. I love when family join in with making the vision happen! Check out the brides dreamy gown and magical cape! Every bloom for this wedding was grown locally and lovingly by Gathered at Dusk.

Remembering Ali & Toms chic boho wedding. An extremely stylish couple who had a double whammy wedding at Leeds Town Hall and The Granary on the Common, bring city slick and boho chic to their marriage. I loved the orchid, pampas, quicksand rose and tropical leaf in Ali’s bouquet.

Event flowers ✨ creating flowers for an event takes weeks of preparation, and days of preparing your flowers. We nurture them and condition them to their peak look, so that on the day you see beautiful blooms at peak opening. Each flower showing off its full potential.

This can involve the use of different types of feed and finishing solutions, temperature control, stripping and removal of appropriate foliage, and manipulation of petal and leaf.

Definitely in my top five for the sheer variety of colour, shape, texture, and feel. From the beautiful soft wedding vibe of Cafe Au Lait, to something electric, holographic and alternative, like this beauty I have grown this year.

My family wanted a tribute that could be shared and live on- with no waste. I created a casket spray with bound in perennial plants, Ivy plants, mini succulents and vessels of fresh flowers. Natural looking, sustainable, everything compostable, locally grown and in our signature untamed style.
