This is our final part of the build to the community hub that will provide warm and a safe place to the homeless, and local residents. Where all can come in for a warm drink, something to eat and help with any advice from colleagues we are working with.
Computer stations and printing facility, showers and toilets for the homeless and lots more.
To finish this, we need your help …… joiners ?

So today, work has started on the new “Help the Homelezz Community Hub”
This will be opening shortly and will provide a warm space, and community space for the local community but also a drop in place for those sleeping rough and engaging with other agencies.
Members of public can have warm drinks , relax, read daily papers, watch live news, or meet with family and friends and sit at a table and spend time doing anything. Our breakfast morning will operate from this hub and eventually warm meals on an evening.
We will also, in time, have an internet spot for anyone to use the computers or simply print something.
Charging points for mobile phone and a shower room and toilet for the homeless.
We hope people will pop in and support us and use our facilities.
We have a long way to go still but work started today.
Big thank you to Jeff & Eileen and to B&Q (Goole) for the donation of door casings and screws. Further updates to come as we progress towards the big opening day.
