What a wonderful day to welcome the sunshine! ☀️

Today, our residents made the most of the beautiful weather by spending time outdoors, enjoying the fresh air, warm sunshine, and each other’s company. From relaxing in the garden to sharing smiles and laughter, it’s been a truly uplifting afternoon for everyone.

Moments like these remind us how important it is to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Here’s to many more sunny days ahead! 🌼💜

What a wonderful Easter Weekend we’ve had here at Westfield Park🐣

Yesterday we said a heartfelt goodbye to our wonderful Home Manager after an incredible 17 years with us💐

To mark Mandy’s final day, we held a special celebration with residents, staff and families all coming together. The home was filled with music, singing, dancing, and so many smiles as we shared memories and celebrated everything she has given to our home over the years.

Mandy’s dedication, kindness and leadership have touched so many lives, and she will be truly missed by us all. Thank you for 17 amazing years - you will always be a part of our family💜

What a fantastic day out for our residents at Westfield Park Care Home! 🎉

We enjoyed a wonderful outing to The Counting House, filled with laughter, great company, and plenty of fun. The bingo was a big hit (with a few very competitive players! 😉), and the dancing had everyone smiling and tapping their feet. 💃🕺

It was lovely to see so many of our residents joining in and enjoying themselves — days like these create such special memories. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a joyful outing! ❤️

We had a lovely afternoon in our Bartholomew Suite today thanks to the wonderful Violinist, Lesley Locke 🎶

Lesley treated our residents to a beautiful live performance at Westfield Park Care Home, and it was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
Live music always brings such a special atmosphere to our home, and this afternoon was no exception.

We had a wonderful time at our Open Day at Westfield Park Care Home! Thank you to everyone who came along to see what life is like here with us 💙

We were delighted to be joined by Diane Snead on our Residential Suite, and Anne Fotheringham on our Haven Suite, who helped make the day extra special. It was lovely to show our beautiful spaces, chat with visitors, and share what makes Westfield Park such a welcoming place to call home.

Today we completed a 13-mile walk to raise money for the Activity Fund, and we’re so proud to share that we’ve raised an amazing £515 in total! 🎉👏 Edit - Now £700 👈 due to more donations! Thank you!

Today we were out in the community promoting two exciting upcoming events – our Care Home Open Day and our free Dementia Workshop. Although separate events, both are wonderful opportunities to connect, learn, and see what we offer.

Today we were delighted to be joined by resident Jan, who kindly volunteered her time to come along and help – thank you, Jan! 💙 Thank you to the community for also advertising our Care Home Open Day.

👉Why not join us on Monday 16th February for our Dementia Workshop. This will be led by Kate Price, a CareUK Dementia Specialist Lead. The event will take place in our Haven Cinema Lounge at 2pm. We hope to see you there!

Yesterday, we were lucky enough to have Liana Dilks for a wonderful seated yoga session with our residents at Westfield Park Care Home! 🙌✨

These bi-weekly sessions are designed to help improve flexibility, reduce stress, and bring a sense of calm to everyone involved. Each session rotates between the suites, ensuring that every resident has a chance to join in and benefit from Liana’s soothing guidance. 🌸
