There were smiles, music and plenty of celebration at Parklands Care Home as residents, families and staff came together to mark a fantastic achievement — receiving a ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Following a recent inspection, the home was officially recognised for meeting the standards required across key areas of care, safety and leadership. The positive rating reflects the dedication and compassion shown by the team every day.

To celebrate the achievement, Parklands Care Home hosted a special afternoon party for residents and their loved ones. The event featured live entertainment from a talented singer, who had everyone clapping, singing along and even dancing.

The atmosphere was filled with pride and happiness as residents spent quality time with family and friends, recognising the hard work of the staff team who support them.

A spokesperson for the home said:
“We are incredibly proud to have received a ‘Good’ rating from CQC. This celebration was about thanking our wonderful staff for their dedication and giving our residents and their families the opportunity to share in this special moment with us.”

The event highlighted not only the home’s achievement but also the strong sense of community that makes Parklands Care Home such a special place to live and work.

ITS PARTY TIME🥳🎊

Following on from receiving our GOOD rating from our inspection from CQC last month, which is a fantastic achievement for our whole team and our wonderful residents. We would love for you to join us in celebrating our rating.

As some of you might be aware, in January of this year we had an unannounced CQC visit ..

We are all so proud to announce we have received our draft assessment and this shows we have maintained our rating of GOOD in most areas and have improved from our previous inspection in Well Led!🥳

This outcome represents the hard work, commitment and dedication of all our staff and I am unbelievably proud of us all!

Today is a day of celebration for all of us🎉❤️
