Our practice will be closed on Good Friday 03/04/26 and Easter Monday 06/04/26.

We are currently working to a 4‑day turnaround for repeat prescriptions.
To avoid delays, please make sure to order your medication in good time before the Easter break.

⏳ Repeat requests submitted too close to the bank holiday may not be ready until after we reopen.

If you need urgent medical assistance while the practice is closed, please contact out‑of‑hours care on 111.
For a medical emergency, always call 999 immediately.

❤️REMINDER: Learn First Aid Skills with this FREE course for Midlothian residents.

This one-day course is usually the minimum requirement in any workplace where a first aider is needed. This course is ideal for people who are looking for work, volunteering or working in low-hazard environments, such as a shop or office. It is also suitable for organisations whose first aid needs assessment has identified the need for somebody trained in emergency first aid.

📢 Service Update – Reduced GP Capacity (Mon–Wed)

😷 Due to GP sickness, we’ll be running with reduced clinical capacity on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
We have secured additional support for Thursday and Friday, and expect services to stabilise later in the week.

❗ Demand is currently very high, and our team will be working as hard as possible to support everyone.
Please be patient and kind to our staff as we triage all requests appropriately to protect urgent and emergency needs.

⚠️ We do still have capacity, but it is significantly reduced over these three days, and we are managing this carefully to maintain safe and safe service levels.
