This book has been a true labour of love, and it was inspired by every single one of you in this wonderful community. For years, I've read your comments and heard your stories of finding strength, joy, and relief through our YouTube practices. I poured all of that inspiration, along with my heartfelt "Feel Good First" philosophy, into creating a beautiful companion you can hold in your hands.
It all started when a publisher considered me for a book, but chose someone else. I was a bit disappointed, but my lovely son said, "Write your own book, Mum. I know you can do it." And so, with his encouragement and your inspiration, I did!

World Animal Day is an important reminder to honour and protect the lives of all animals. Since 1925, people around the globe have come together to celebrate animal welfare and work towards ending needless suffering.

As a yogi, I see a beautiful connection here: yoga teaches us compassion, awareness, and mindfulnessβ€”qualities that extend beyond ourselves to all living beings. On this day, we can take a moment in our practice to send kindness and gratitude to the animals that share our world, whether through a gentle meditation, mindful breathing, or simply reflecting on ways we can make life better for them.

Let’s carry the spirit of compassion from the mat into our daily lives, honouring and protecting the creatures we share this planet with. πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’›
