⏰⏰⏰ IMPORTANT INFORMATION: TRAINING CLOSURE

TUESDAY 17TH JUNE 2025

The surgery and others in the county will be closed for staff training on Tuesday 17th June 2025 from 13:00 and will reopen the follow day Wednesday 18th February 2025 at 08:00

Please do not call or attend the practice on this afternoon. If you have a medical emergency that cannot wait until the following morning, please call 111 and they will direct you to the appropriate service.

During this time prescription requests will also not be processed so please ensure you have sufficient medication ahead of this date. You will also not be able to collect medication from the Dispensary on this afternoon. It will still be possible to collect medication from our Pharmaself prescription machines.

Important information about Norovirus. Lots of patients and our team affected. Please stay home if you can to reduce the risk of spreading it

Norovirus is a stomach bug that causes diarrhoea and vomiting. It can be very unpleasant, but usually goes away in about two days.

If you catch it; stay home, rest and have plenty of fluids.

Both our sites, Goring and Woodcote will be closed for staff training on Wednesday 26th February from 1:00pm and will reopen the following day for appointments on Thursday 27th February at 8am.

Please do not call or attend the Surgery on this afternoon. If you have a medical emergency that cannot wait until the following morning please call 111 and they will direct you to the appropriate service.

You will not be able to collect medication from Dispensary on this afternoon. You are able to collect from our prescription vending machines at both sites if you have already signed up to do this.

Advance notice:

The Goring Practice site will close early on from 1.00 pm on Friday November 1st, this includes the Goring Dispensary.

If you have a prescription to collect from Goring Dispensary please ensure you collect it before 1.00 pm on Friday

If you access your medications from the Prescription vending machine at either site you will be able to do so as normal 24 hours day/7 days a week.

The Woodcote Practice site will remain open on Friday November 1st as normal, until 6.30pm. Woodcote Dispensary will be open until 5.00 pm

**📢 Important Reminder for flu & covid clinic being held at our GORING Practice Saturday 5th October 2024 📢**

🚗 **Parking & Traffic:**
We have limited parking at the surgery and increased traffic due to nearby roadworks. We recommend using the local public car parks or walking if possible to help ease congestion.

To ensure a safe and efficient vaccination process, please follow these guidelines:

👉 **Staggered Attendance**: Please arrive at the time slot you have booked to avoid congestion at our site

💡 **Quick Tip**: Wear short/no-sleeved tops to ensure rapid access to your shoulder for the injection. Avoid jumpers, cardigans, or jackets 🧥
