If you’re currently in Year 13 at a local school or college and are interested in a career in health care then you may like to consider applying to join our next Health and Social Care Academy programme that will start this autumn.
The Academy gives you the opportunity to learn more about the many roles available in the NHS and social care while continuing your studies, as you are released for a few hours to take part in sessions either remotely or at the hospital’s Education and Training Centre.
Sessions are run by healthcare professionals from different teams and organisations and you’ll also be able to gain new skills to support you in applying for jobs, further education and apprenticeships.
We’re now accepting applications for our Year 13 Academy which runs from Monday 9th October to Friday 8th December over four sessions.
