Don't miss out on our upcoming webinar!

Disability, S*x & Intimacy: How Practitioners Can Support Clients will be presented by Daniele Paige

📅 Tuesday 19th May at 10:00am

Event Summary:
Daniele will discuss disability, sexuality and intimacy, and how practitioners can support clients in a safe, respectful and person-centred way. It looks at sexuality as a human right, the boundaries of professional roles in care settings, and the legal framework that impacts practice - particularly the Mental Capacity Act, S*xual Offences Act 2003, and safeguarding responsibilities. Using real-life Court of Protection case examples, attendees will gain practical understanding of how to approach difficult conversations, assess and respond to risks, and protect both vulnerable clients and their rights.

Members will find the link to register in their inbox.
Please contact admin@nationalbackexchange.org to be resent the link or find out more about becoming a member of NBE.

The webinar is anticipated to run for about 45 minutes and will include a Q&A session.
