Pilates is a system of exercises that aims to strengthen the body in an even way with particular emphasis on core stability to improve general fitness, flexibility and wellbeing. Regular practice can improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility as well as relieving stress. Julie Bateman has taught Pilates at a physiotherapy practice as well as through her own business and she has many years experience helping people of all ages and ability.
