I hear you — it’s really frustrating when another summer passes and you feel stuck in the same place. The good news is you’ve still got time between now and Christmas to make a real difference, both physically and in how you feel about yourself. Let’s break it down so it feels doable, not overwhelming:
1. Define your “why.”
Ask yourself: Why do you want this? Is it confidence, health, energy, fitting into certain clothes, or feeling proud at Christmas? Write it down — it will be your anchor when motivation dips.
2. Set a Christmas goal.
You’ve got about 15 weeks until Christmas. Instead of aiming for “perfect,” think about what’s realistic:
• Weight loss pace: With the 1:1 Diet we can drop around a stone a month. That could be 3 stone lighter.
• Non-scale goals: better energy, fitting into smaller clothes, being able to move more easily.
3. Break it into small chunks.
Rather than looking at “all the weight,” focus on the next 7 days. Ask: What 3 things can I do this week to move forward? (e.g. plan your products, cut fizzy drinks, walk 30 mins a day).
4. Build routines, not punishment.
Motivation fades — routines carry you. Try:
• product planning (so you’re not relying on willpower when tired).
• Short daily movement (even 20 minutes is better than nothing).
• Consistent bedtime (sleep massively affects hunger and cravings).
5. Use accountability.
Check in with me, I’m going to be your loudest cheerleader and I’m here to make you accountable.
6. Focus on how you feel, not just the scales.
Notice small wins: clothes looser, energy up, skin better, better mood. These keep you going.
7. Be kind but firm with yourself.
No more “another summer wasted.” That mindset weighs more than the pounds. Try flipping it: “This autumn is my turning point.”
✨ Imagine yourself at Christmas — wearing something you feel good in, more confident, proud you stuck with it. That version of you starts with the choices you make this week.
