EASTER GIVEAWAY.

I love a little Easter treat. I also love books, so I have set up a little giveaway for you all!

Around the clinic we have hidden a lot of Easter eggs. The person who guesses the number correctly will win a £20 voucher from The Book Shop in Lee-on-the-Solent. If the exact number isn't guessed I will go to the closest guess and in the event of a tie, I will draw names out of a hat, Look through the photos for a clue!

I’m not exactly known for my planning, but I have finally got the spring forward, fall back thing nailed. What I did NOT plan for was this coinciding with day two of the school holidays. 😂
Tomorrow morning is going to be a treat.

Parenting in the holidays hits different when someone steals an hour of everyone’s sleep. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Happy International Women’s Day 💗

I feel very lucky to spend my days surrounded by such wonderful women.

The women who walk through the doors of the practice and trust me with their care. The mothers, daughters, grandmothers and friends who support one another. My brilliant assistants who help make the practice such a warm place to be. And the many local women running businesses and lifting each other up in our community.

There is something very special about women supporting women.

Thank you for being part of this little practice. It truly means the world. 🌸

Better than cards and chocolates, although I’m definitely not complaining, we have the whole family together today, and it seems the sunshine has decided to come and visit too ☀️

From the cosy cafés, book shops, beauty therapists and brilliant boutiques to the makers, therapists and family-run gems, we’re so lucky to be surrounded by such heart-led people doing what they love.

Running a small business isn’t always easy, especially at this time of year, but it’s meaningful. Every purchase, every recommendation and every kind word truly makes a difference.

So it's officially Christmas (well nearly) - so as tradition dictates the official logo has changed! For those who don't know the story behind the logo, this beautiful silouette was created by Little Love Art - Christian Dakin Brown many, many years ago from a photo my mum took of my husband and our son. It has always reflected the energy and connection of Alverstoke Chiropractic and I still adore it.

Christian kindly created this version for Christmas too! So this is what you will be seeing for the next month (or so - if we get to mid January please feel free to remind me to change it back)!

I often say I’ll never stop learning.

I just love how quickly chiropractic research is moving at the moment. I was learning with the brilliant Heidi Haavik today and honestly… it gave me goosebumps. So many things we’ve felt and seen in practice for years are finally being backed up by the science.

It’s like, “yes, this is exactly what we’ve known all along!” And it just makes me even more excited to keep learning, keep growing, and keep bringing that back into practice. I’ll be sharing more soon.
