The images I’ve seen the past 3wks are seared into my soul.The amount of dead, mutilated, tortured and traumatised children has been unprecedented. Never have I seen actual human flesh opened up and chopped like pieces of meat.I’ve never seen so many body parts in my life.

I understand that is hurting, I truly do but it genuinely feels more pride based right now. Bombing refugee camps, schools and hospital entrances, using chemical bombs designed to torture before death and targeting the south when they told people to go there are not humane ways of delivering justice.

I feel ashamed of the West’s clear double standard on the behaviour of Israel, who in a few short weeks have killed more children than Putin has done in over a year in Ukraine. If Putin was bombing civilians in this way, if he had been using phosphorus bombs, if he had cut off water, food, medical supplies and electricity, I’m damn sure the West would have lost it’s mind.

And I hate the way they are dehumanising Palestinians, calling them animals. I know who I feel is more animal like right now. Also if anyone treated my animals the way Israel are treating human beings, there would be a big problem let me tell you.

It’s not even about revenge. It’s about pure hate filled bigotry whose sole aim is to land grab. Pro Israeli’s get very offended about the Palestinian song that talks about being free from the river to the sea. Which is a tad two faced, don’t you think, when they are clearly trying to exterminate Palestinians from the river to the sea.

It’s not just behaviour in Gaza that’s problematic. They’re abusive and have an apartheid system in the West Bank. Routinely committing acts of cruelty to Palestinians. Stealing their generationally held homes and land. Forcibly removing children, by groups of soldiers, from their helpless parents.

They say God’s given them land.I don’t remember God instructing them to steal it. God told them to love their neighbours, not lie, not steal and not murder. They’re breaking their own rules and thousands of people are dying. This must stop.

The Calming Blend is my absolute go-to when I need some peaceful headspace. This blend of relaxing roman chamomile, restful mandarin and grounding bergamot was created with children in mind and helps to gently soothe when they’re over-excited, over-tired or a little grouchy.
This is also true for over-tired adults!

I also use this as a room spritz/diffuser oil before my therapy sessions with children. I also dab some on myself when I do home visits. All to help promote an atmosphere of calm for the children and families I work with.

HOW TO USE

Diffusers & Burners
A natural air freshener, this technique creates a calming ambiance and mood. For adults, add 1–3 drops in a diffuser or burner. For children over 2 years old, add 1–3 drops in a diffuser.

Room Spritz
Fill your spray bottle 3/4 of the way with distilled water. Fill up to the top with witch hazel (which helps the oil to mix with the water). Add drops of essential oil to your smell preference.

Inhalation
This technique helps to clear your head and nose. For adults, add 4–6 drops to a bowl of steaming water, pace a towel over your head and breathe. Children over 2 years old, adults with sensitive skin and asthmatics should not inhale directly. Instead, place the bowl of hot water with added oils in the room nearby.

Massages
Relaxes your body and mind while helping to ease aching muscles. For adults, use up to 15 drops in 2 tbsp of base oil. For children over 2 years old or adults with sensitive skin, use up to 6 drops in 2 tbsp of base oil.
