Catching up after a busy bank holiday weekend!
Friday was treating 11 horses from South Humber Riding Club at their fantastic Epworth camp! A busy day for all! It was so great to work with the horses and riders, meeting some new beautiful ponies and watching them strutting their stuff and having loads of fun!

Saturday was a day of treating Riders at the brilliant JJ Equestrian Services Day camp.
I set my trailer up and worked through 8 riders with a postural assessment, some range of motion, a treatment and some aftercare exercises. Again so great to see the horses and riders having fun!

Both days had so much going on, fun and friendly atmospheres and amazing to see horses and riders building in confidence and having a great time!
I highly recommend anyone joining in!
Really looking forward to the next dates!

This is so exciting!!

ENTRIES OPEN THIS WEEK....
Online booking.

AT LAST.....our first Competition date is in the diary.

Saturday May 24th
You've been asking us to run a competition for a while now.

It's not that straight forward and takes a lot of planning (especially when it's your 1st one)...
So we are starting small and will see how we go.

An Eventer Trial is a combined round of Show Jumps and XC jumps.

You will jump 9 Show Jumps then canter (or trot) straight through into the XC field and complete a couse of appx 15 - 17 XC Jumps.

XC will be an optimum time.

Albeit a competitive day, we aim to make this event a friendly, fun and confidence building day.
We will not be asking tricky lines or Questions in the lower classes and water and ditches only in class 3 and 4.

Classes will be as below.

Class 1 - up to 40cm.
Class 2 - up to 60 cm
Class 3 - up to 80 cm
Class 4 - 90cm.

Bookings will be online and we will send out a link in due course with entry price. £

I'm v. excited about ordering some Rosettes with Winters Equestrian on!! 🤣

We will be looking for volunteers on the day and some prize donations please 🙏 if you can help us it would be greatly appreciated.

We really hope you will be able to come and support us and get those entries in!

Parking will be in the field opposite the XC entrance.

CANT WAIT!! Eeek!

Many Thanks

Really looking forward to tonight’s webinar from The Equine Documentalist & Holistic Equine looking at the Hoof-Horse connection through neuromuscular Health, the Autonomic System, and the Hoof.

What’s Your Definition of Integrative Hoof Care?

Everything affects the hoof, and the hoof affects everything. With this in mind, integrative hoof care must be as comprehensive and holistic as possible. In our upcoming webinar, Yogi (The Equine Documentalist) and Beccy (Holistic Equine) will dive deep into the world of integrative hoof care.

Here’s what we’ll cover:

Reactive vs. Proactive Approaches: Defining these strategies, what they look like in practice, and their relevance to the industry.

💡The Hoof-Horse Connection: A simple outline of how the hoof and horse are interconnected, introducing the autonomic nervous system, polyvagal theory, and neuromuscular system—and what this means for achieving hoof care goals.

💡The Traffic Light System: A tool to better understand what the horse might be feeling and how it impacts observable behavior and posture.

💡Assessment & Observation: The importance of accurate, repeatable assessments and how they can shape the future of the hoof care industry.

💡Health Through the Neuromuscular Lens: Exploring what a healthy horse and hoof look like from a neuromuscular perspective

We’ll also reflect on practical ways to help horses feel safe and sound, including:

We’ll also reflect on practical ways to help horses feel safe and sound, including:

💡Compassionate Equestrianism: Using a model to enhance caregiving and connection.
💡 Calming & Stress Signals: Understanding these signals and using them to support well-being.
💡 Scent Work: What it is and how to implement it for health goals.
💡 Body Work: Its role in promoting hoof and body health and balance.
💡 Balance Pads: How to incorporate them into rehab and maintenance for optimal well-being.
💡 Co-Regulation: Enhancing our connection with horses, including a short HeartMath exercise to regulate our own nervous systems.
💡 Environmental Enrichment: Optimizing neuromuscular health through thoughtful environmental design.
💡 Dentistry: Its role in overall equine health.
