✨The Pelvis & Your Jaw – Surprising connection!✨

Did you know that tension in your jaw can affect your pelvis and tension in your pelvis can affect your jaw?

The jaw joint is related to the pelvis through an intricate network of muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues that make up the myofascial system.

For example, tightness in your TMJ (jaw joint) can cause compensations in your neck, shoulders, and even down to your lower back and pelvis. Similarly, misalignments or tension in the pelvis can change the way you hold your head and jaw, sometimes contributing to clenching, headaches, or TMJ discomfort.

If your jaw or pelvis feels tense, stiff, or just “off,” releasing one can help ease the other, helping you feel lighter, freer, and more comfortable overall.

My jaw treatments combine myofascial release, massage, and gentle jaw release techniques using intra-oral massage, where I work the deep muscles inside the mouth wearing gloves. This approach helps release tension in the jaw, head, neck, and even down to the pelvis, aiming to restore balance and ease discomfort throughout your body.

This is a powerful treatment that I am deeply passionate about and I feel truly honored to be able to share it with you all. Giving you the time out that you deserve and helping you to leave feeling lighter, softer, and more at ease is what makes this work so rewarding 🌿💆‍♀️

🌿 National Grief Awareness Day 🌿

Grief touches us all, and it often shows up not just in our hearts, but in our bodies, too. Massage can’t take grief away, but it can support you through it.

Experiencing massage during my own grief journey was deeply healing, and it inspired me to become a therapist myself.

My treatments offer a pause: a safe space to breathe, be still, and reconnect with yourself. They can help to release tension, soothe emotional heaviness, and remind you that it’s okay to slow down. The care of touch can bring comfort, ease stress, and remind you that you don’t have to navigate grief alone.

Whether your grief is fresh or not, here are some gentle reminders:

• Rest when needed: Listen to your body and honor your need for downtime.

• Stay hydrated: Grief can be draining so please remember to drink water and nourish yourself.

• Move gently: Stretch, walk, or try light movement to help release tension.

• Nature: Head out regularly for some fresh air.

• Prioritize sleep: your body needs to recharge and rest.

• Connect: Reach out to friends, family, or a caring professional for support.

• Find your release: Whether it’s going to the gym, yoga, baking, running etc, a regular release that you enjoy can be so healing. Mine is singing 🎤

Your feelings are valid. Not just today, but every day. Give yourself the kindness, rest, and care you deserve and I’ll be here if and when you need me ❤️

✨ May and June Special (£60) ✨

….Let’s Melt That Tension Away!

Next Month, I’m inviting you to slow down and treat yourself to something truly nourishing.

I’ve created a special 75 minute tension release treatment designed to soothe both body and mind.

We’ll begin with a deeply relaxing neck, back & shoulder massage to gently release built-up tension and stress, followed by a luxurious facial and scalp massage tailored just for you. Whether you’re dealing with facial tension, congestion, or simply craving a moment to unwind - I’ll use a combination of holistic techniques to restore balance, encourage flow, and bring out your natural glow.

Combination techniques may include: buccal massage, lymphatic drainage, facial cupping.

Please send me a message if you would like to book. Your moment of calm is waiting.

I look forward to hearing from you. 🌿✨

It’s so much more than just a jaw massage… 🤩🌿

Your first appointment is 90mins and includes a detailed consultation and jaw assessment.

The treatment includes a holistic full-body approach targeting the fascia to unwind the whole body, along-with a luxurious neck, back, and shoulder massage.

I blend the intra-oral pterygoid release with buccal techniques to create space and freedom in the jaw, followed by a beautiful, stress-relieving facial and scalp massage.

The scalp massage works on the temporalis muscles which are deeply connected to the jaw. Releasing these can help to alleviate headaches and other areas of tension.

Whilst jaw massage can be hugely effective, other healing treatments may also be required to work alongside jaw massage in order to get the full benefits.

These can include:

Self care, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, cranial sacral therapy, discussions with your dentist regarding splints / night guards, and more - which we cover in our aftercare discussion 🤗

1st treatment (90 mins) £70.
Follow up treatments (60mins) £60.

Please send me a message if you would like to enquire further 🌿✨

Providing aftercare to you when you come for a treatment is such a vital part of what I do & I believe, just as important as the treatment itself. It empowers you to continue looking after yourselves between sessions, which is so important for lasting results.

Sharing these self-care tips on my page is also a little nudge to myself - to remember to care for me, too. I go through phases where I’m really consistent with these habits, but life happens. Whether it’s getting sick, my son being unwell, a busy spell at work, or time away, routines can shift, & with that, self-care can take a back seat.

It’s so easy for a change in routine to throw things off and for those good habits to slip. But that’s okay. Be kind to yourself, pause, acknowledge the shift - & gently guide yourself back into the rhythm.

My tips:

1) Wearing SPF daily can:

• Slow down the signs of aging.
• Protect your skin’s health.
• Shield you from sun damage year-round.
• Preserve your natural glow.
• Even out your skin tone.

2) Stay Hydrated:

Keeping your body well-hydrated is one of the simplest ways to support your overall wellbeing. Water fuels your physical health, boosts energy levels, and helps keep your mind clear and focused throughout the day.

3) Moving Your Body Regularly:

It doesn’t have to be intense—just intentional. A walk, a stretch, or even a quick dance break can:

• Boost your mood & energy.
• Support circulation & lymphatic flow.
• Reconnect you with your body.
• Improve posture from all that screen time.

We spend so much time hunched over phones and laptops—your body deserves a reset. Take regular movement breaks throughout the day… your mind & body will thank you.

4) Prioritise Sleep – Just like our phones need charging to work properly, we need rest to function at our best. Sleep is our way of recharging—physically, mentally, and emotionally. It restores our energy, sharpens our focus, & builds the resilience we need to take on whatever the day brings.

5) Set boundaries: Remember it’s perfectly okay to say no sometimes. Setting boundaries is a way to protect your time & energy, so you can stay refreshed and avoid burnout.

Extra tip: Be kind to yourself 🌿✨

Why choose me as a massage therapist?

- This is not just a job for me. It is a passion. I understand how hard life can get at times and how we all need that time out for ourselves. It is not easy to find that time, especially with a busy and stressful lifestyle. When a client chooses to come to me, it is a huge privilege, therefore it is important to me that you leave my treatment’s feeling happy, relaxed, rejuvenated and that you have got your time and monies worth.

- I will tailor my massages to every individual. No massage is the same. I will listen to my client and understand what they really need at that moment in time. All notes are documented and stored/locked away confidentially.

- I use a variety of beautiful oils and skin products from & , which not only smell divine but are all natural and organic.

- You will be greeted by the most calming and relaxing smells of bay and rosemary by

- I often take CPD courses to extend my knowledge and further develop my skills.

- I have a good knowledge of hygiene. After ten years of working in a hospital environment and also completing my L3 in healthcare, hygiene is essential, and very important to me.

- I provide a safe and nurturing space for anyone that walks through the studio door 🌿✨

There is still plenty of space for my heavenly full body massage offer this month & throughout Feb:

£50 for 60 mins or £60 for 75 min.

Please feel free to contact me at any time with any queries and I’ll always be happy to chat to you at any time 🌿✨
