✨ Competition reminder ✨

🌿 For anyone with a jaw - this one’s for you! 🌿

If you clench, grind, or carry stress anywhere in your body - from your jaw and neck to your hips and feet - this treatment brings deep release and relaxation.

But you don’t have to be a “jaw sufferer” to feel the benefits - we all have a jaw, and it’s one of the most used (and overworked!) muscles in the body.

When we release the jaw, we often feel the effects ripple throughout the whole body - easing tension, softening the nervous system, and bringing a sense of calm and balance.

To enter - please follow the instructions on my previous competition post (link in bio), and good luck everyone! 🌿⭐️

⭐️ New Treatment List & Introductory Offer ⭐️

As we step into November (and cosy season begins!) 🍂 I’m really excited to share a new chapter for Cath Saltern Holistic Therapies.

From this month, I’ll be offering Wednesdays as extra for appointments as I take my business full-time 🕯️

Over the past two years, I’ve been studying deeply in holistic massage and TMJ therapy, learning from some incredible teachers and mentors. Through this journey, and from working with so many wonderful clients, I’ve realised that tension and stress relief is truly at the heart of my work. 💛

I’ve now simplified my treatment list to focus purely on longer, bespoke tension release sessions, giving you the time and space to fully unwind. These treatments blend gentle yet powerful techniques such as myofascial release, intra-oral TMJ work, MET, trigger point therapy, and still-work, creating a deeply restorative experience that helps both body and mind let go. 🌿

As part of this evolution, there will be a price increase from January 2026. This reflects the extended treatment times and the depth of knowledge and advanced training I’ve undertaken to bring even more support and care into your sessions.

To celebrate this next step, I’m offering an introductory £10 off all treatments from my new list until 17th December 2025 🎄

✨ Treatments already booked before this notice will not be affected by the new prices.
✨ New prices will begin from 1st January 2026.
✨ £10 introductory offer begins now!

Thank you so much for your continued support and for being part of this journey with me. I can’t wait to welcome you into this new chapter 🤍

With love and warmth,
Cath x

🌿 World Mental Health Day 🌿

Today feels like a gentle reminder that we all carry things others may never see, and that self-care isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity!

I’ve had my own moments of struggle and times when the world has felt heavy, but those experiences have shaped me into the therapist I am today, and I feel honoured to hold such a safe space for my clients.

A treatment with me isn’t just for tired muscles; it’s a space to breathe, to release, and to simply be.
No judgment. No pressure. Just time for you.

I feel truly privileged to have witnessed the difference that time out in my space can make, and how a little stillness and care can go such a long way. Recharging your batteries is vital, because when you give to yourself, you have more to give to others.

It’s okay to put yourself first. You might be a carer, a parent, or someone others depend on, but you can’t look after them until you’ve looked after yourself ❤️

Please take care and you’re always welcome into my space if and when you need a time to pause 🤗

✨The Pelvis & Your Jaw – Surprising connection!✨

Did you know that tension in your jaw can affect your pelvis and tension in your pelvis can affect your jaw?

The jaw joint is related to the pelvis through an intricate network of muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues that make up the myofascial system.

For example, tightness in your TMJ (jaw joint) can cause compensations in your neck, shoulders, and even down to your lower back and pelvis. Similarly, misalignments or tension in the pelvis can change the way you hold your head and jaw, sometimes contributing to clenching, headaches, or TMJ discomfort.

If your jaw or pelvis feels tense, stiff, or just “off,” releasing one can help ease the other, helping you feel lighter, freer, and more comfortable overall.

My jaw treatments combine myofascial release, massage, and gentle jaw release techniques using intra-oral massage, where I work the deep muscles inside the mouth wearing gloves. This approach helps release tension in the jaw, head, neck, and even down to the pelvis, aiming to restore balance and ease discomfort throughout your body.

This is a powerful treatment that I am deeply passionate about and I feel truly honored to be able to share it with you all. Giving you the time out that you deserve and helping you to leave feeling lighter, softer, and more at ease is what makes this work so rewarding 🌿💆‍♀️

🌿 National Grief Awareness Day 🌿

Grief touches us all, and it often shows up not just in our hearts, but in our bodies, too. Massage can’t take grief away, but it can support you through it.

Experiencing massage during my own grief journey was deeply healing, and it inspired me to become a therapist myself.

My treatments offer a pause: a safe space to breathe, be still, and reconnect with yourself. They can help to release tension, soothe emotional heaviness, and remind you that it’s okay to slow down. The care of touch can bring comfort, ease stress, and remind you that you don’t have to navigate grief alone.

Whether your grief is fresh or not, here are some gentle reminders:

• Rest when needed: Listen to your body and honor your need for downtime.

• Stay hydrated: Grief can be draining so please remember to drink water and nourish yourself.

• Move gently: Stretch, walk, or try light movement to help release tension.

• Nature: Head out regularly for some fresh air.

• Prioritize sleep: your body needs to recharge and rest.

• Connect: Reach out to friends, family, or a caring professional for support.

• Find your release: Whether it’s going to the gym, yoga, baking, running etc, a regular release that you enjoy can be so healing. Mine is singing 🎤

Your feelings are valid. Not just today, but every day. Give yourself the kindness, rest, and care you deserve and I’ll be here if and when you need me ❤️
