The Old Vicarage

The Old Vicarage The Old Vicarage is a family run residential care home situated in the village of Allithwaite. We produce a quarterly newsletter detailing all our activities.

We specialise in care for the elderly and physically frail, including those with dementia. The Old Vicarage is a vibrant, friendly place with lots going on and
strong links with the local community. The wellbeing and dignity of our residents is hugely important to us and therefore our staff are recruited for their values of kindness, compassion and patience. Whilst most of our residents are with

us full time, when we have vacancies we are able to provide a respite service. We can also offer day care to local people.

Today, Eileen and Alice enjoyed a little bit of shopping in Grange-over-Sands. Fletchers and Blooms & Brews certainly received the thumbs up. Eileen thought the rows of jars at Fletcher's were magnificent and very reminiscent of shops from her childhood. And finally, they stopped for a lovely coffee at the perfectly named 'At Home' cafe. A grand day out!
