Most people think corns and callus are the same.
They are not.
Wrong treatment = recurring pain.
Correct diagnosis = proper relief.
If you keep “shaving it down” at home,
you are only removing the symptom — not the cause.
✔ Diabetic clients
✔ High pressure areas
✔ Recurrent lesions
Professional assessment matters.

Classic Pedicure vs Medi-Pedi – What’s the Difference?
Many people think every pedicure is the same.
It’s not.
At my clinic, I offer two completely different services — and choosing the right one matters, es
pecially if you have underlying health conditions.

🌿 CLASSIC PEDICURE
(Beauty & Maintenance – Healthy Feet Only)
This treatment is suitable for: ✔ healthy skin
✔ cosmetic nail care
✔ relaxation
✔ regular maintenance
Includes: • nail cutting & shaping
• cuticle care
• light callus smoothing
• exfoliation & moisturising
• polish (optional)
❗ Not suitable for: • fungal nails
• ingrown toenails
• corns
• cracked heels
• diabetic or high-risk feet
This is a beauty-focused treatment.

🏥 MEDI-PEDI
(Medical Foot Care – Advanced Treatment)
This is a clinical foot health treatment performed by a Qualified Foot Health Practitioner Level 4.
Recommended for: ✔ Corns & Callus
✔ Cracked Heels
✔ Ingrown Toenails
✔ Fungal Nails
✔ Thickened Nails
✔ Diabetic / High-Risk Clients
Includes: • full foot health assessment
• sterile instruments
• deep callus removal
• corn treatment
• ingrown nail management
• fungal nail care
• aftercare advice
• Reconstruction & Gel (if needed)

⚠ Why is this especially important for DIABETIC clients?
If you have diabetes, even small skin damage can lead to serious complications.
You should NOT book a beauty pedicure.
Diabetic feet require: • proper clinical assessment
• sterile technique
• controlled pressure removal
• safe management of skin and nails
Your feet deserve medical-level care.
Healthy feet? → Classic Pedicure
Problem feet or medical condition? → Medi-Pedi

Corn or Callus? They are not the same — and they hurt differently.
Many clients use these words interchangeably, but clinically they are completely different conditions.
A corn is a small, deep, concentrated area of hardened skin with a central core.
It causes sharp, pinpoint pain — often described as “walking on a stone”.
A callus is a broader thickening of the skin caused by pressure or friction.
The discomfort is more spread out and feels like burning or surface pressure.
Why does this matter?
Because treatment strategy is different.
Using random corn plasters or aggressive home removal can actually worsen the condition — especially if you have diabetes or circulation issues.
If you are unsure what you’re dealing with, professional assessment is the safest option.

This is what can happen when you use corn plasters.
A plaster does not remove the problem if the corn is deep.
It only softens the surface — and very often it:
▪ irritates the surrounding healthy skin
▪ causes maceration between the toes
▪ increases the risk of infection
▪ masks the real cause (pressure and friction)
In this case, the lesion was deep.
Safe and controlled treatment with proper offloading took approximately 6 weeks.
The result?
The client can now walk comfortably — pain free.
Most importantly:
If you have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, do NOT use acid corn plasters without professional advice. Healing can be slower and the risk of complications is significantly higher.
A corn between the toes is not just a small cosmetic issue.
It is a pressure response — and it needs to be treated properly.
If you have a painful corn that keeps coming back, seek professional assessment.

Warts are not just a cosmetic concern. They are viral lesions (HPV) that can become painful, spread under pressure, and affect everyday comfort when walking.
In my clinic, effective treatment always starts with a professional consultation:
✔ Clinical assessment of the lesion
✔ Differentiation (verruca vs corn / hyperkeratosis)
✔ Pain and depth evaluation
✔ Identification of contributing factors (pressure, moisture, immunity)
✔ Personalised treatment plan
There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach. Treatment is tailored depending on:
– Location
– Size and duration
– Pain sensitivity
– General health condition
Therapy may include careful debridement, controlled keratolytic treatment, and staged management with close monitoring to ensure safety and effectiveness.
The earlier treatment begins, the easier and more predictable the outcome.
📍 Your first appointment includes a full consultation and treatment planning.
Book your appointment today and take the first step towards pain-free skin.

Small spots on the foot are often ignored.
But corns develop due to repeated pressure in one specific area. Over time, the skin thickens to protect deeper tissue — and that’s when discomfort begins.

This is not just dry skin.
It’s a response to load and friction.

Understanding the cause is more important than just removing the surface.

Almost one year has passed since I completed my FHP Level 4 Diploma…🎉 and I honestly can’t believe how quickly that time has gone.
This qualification was extremely important to me. I wanted to be fully prepared to work safely with high-risk patients — especially those living with hypertension, diabetes, and circulatory conditions. When you work with diabetic feet, knowledge is not optional. It’s essential.
This training gave me:
✔ deeper clinical understanding of diabetic foot care
✔ the ability to assess and manage high-risk cases safely
✔ greater confidence in clinical decision-making
✔ stronger focus on prevention and complication awareness
Working with patients who have diabetes is not just about nail or skin treatment.
It’s about prevention, early detection, careful assessment, and protecting long-term foot health.
I’m grateful for the knowledge I gained and for every patient who trusts me with their care. Your safety always comes first.
If you are living with diabetes or other medical conditions and need professional, safe foot care — I’m here to help.

Justyna 🥰

Cracked heels are often caused by pressure, dryness, and loss of skin elasticity.
This develops gradually — not overnight.
Education is the first step to prevention. 👣
