This week at Red Court, we enjoyed hot chocolate while choosing this year’s Christmas cake recipe. 🎄☕ After looking through lots of options, the BE-RO recipe was voted the favourite! Some of us did word searches about Christmas cakes, while others got creative with colouring - the results were brilliant! 🎨🍰 Our order is now in, and we can’t wait to get baking soon! 💛☺️

Yesterday at Red Court we marked VJ Day with a two-minute silence at 12 o’clock, honouring all those who served. Afterwards, we shared meaningful conversations about the war and the impact it had on our residents, their parents, and their memories of that time. ❤️

Janet has recently taken up gardening here at Red Court, and today we enjoyed sitting outside together while she repotted one of our plants that had become root-bound. 👩‍🌾💛

Janet said she gets so much out of being in the garden, tending to the plants, and reminiscing about the many she used to care for at home. 🏡🌿
