We are joining the Workplace 5K Challenge for Autism Acceptance Month.

This April, the Liberator team is taking part in the National Autistic Society’s Workplace 5K Challenge. It’s a fun, virtual, month‑long challenge where we complete different challenges to raise money and show support for autistic people and their families.

There are different ways to take part, :
🏃 Run or walk 5km
🚴 Cycle 15km
🏊 Swim 1km

Team Liberator are joining in by completing as many of the above challenges as we can, sharing our progress, and raising funds throughout Autism Acceptance Month.

This month is all about acceptance, understanding, and celebrating autistic people.

Every challenge completed and every pound raised helps support services and resources that really make a difference.

😀 International Day of Happiness

Today we’re celebrating International Day of Happiness - a reminder to pause and focus on the things that lift us up and bring us joy.

As a team we were thinking yesterday about what makes us happy - what became clear was that we are all so different and find joy in so many places. We also realised that often, it's the simple things which can bring us happiness.

In our day to day work, happiness is so often connected to communication, as we support people who use AAC to express themselves, connect with others, and share what matters to them. Communication isn’t just functional; it’s emotional, social, and a huge part of what makes life meaningful. When someone gains the tools to share a joke, express joy, tell a story, or connect with their community, it’s a happiness moment for them and for us.

Social media can sometimes feel overwhelming, but it can also be a space where AAC voices are amplified, joyful moments are shared, and communities come together. Small, thoughtful choices about what we post and how we interact really do make a difference and collectively, we can help create a kinder, happier digital world where every communication method is valued and we lift each other up.

So whether happiness for you is that morning cup of coffee, spending time with those you love, a bite of fried chicken or just simply pausing to do nothing - we'd love to hear it.
