The care home was formerly the Little Gonerby Church Of England Infant School, originally built in 1863.

Care Assistant – 36 Hours per Week
Location: Belvoir House
Belvoir House is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our caring and supportive team on a 36-hour per week contract.

We are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care in a warm and respectful environment. If you are kind, reliable, and passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role:
Provide personal care and support to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with daily living activities including washing, dressing, and mobility
Support residents with meals and hydration
Build meaningful relationships and promote independence
Maintain accurate care records
Work collaboratively with colleagues and healthcare professionals
What We’re Looking For:
A caring and empathetic nature
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliability and a strong work ethic
Previous care experience is desirable but not essential (full training can be provided)
Relevant care qualifications (NVQ/QCF) are an advantage.

Seeing the faces of the people you’re privileged to care for light up with happiness is worth more than its weight in gold — I think you’d agree.
Irma is absolutely over the moon with her newly decorated room! It’s now a space where she can truly relax, unwind, and call her own. Moments like this remind us why we do what we do.
From the bottom of my heart, Team Belvoir is making waves. We may be quiet, but we’re channeling our energy and time into making sure every resident feels part of the home they live in — creating spaces that are personal, meaningful, and centred around them.
It’s about dignity. It’s about belonging. It’s about heart. 💫 massive thank you for our Maintenance guy Levii always excelling his skills. We appreciate your dedication and work.

What a lovely day out! ☀️
Carl and Steve enjoyed a wonderful walk to the park today, soaking up the fresh air and having a good catch-up along the way. They were brilliantly supported by Josh, who made sure the trip was extra enjoyable from start to finish.
To top it all off, they stopped off for a well-earned cake and coffee — the perfect treat after a great walk! 🍰☕

Today we had the pleasure of accessing a local community dementia group, where Kate accompanied the lovely Christine and Janet for a truly enjoyable outing 💛
They took part in meaningful activities, shared plenty of smiles, and enjoyed tea, coffee, and a selection of delicious cakes together. It was a wonderful opportunity to socialise and connect in a warm and welcoming environment.
We’re proud to support local groups that create such meaningful experiences, and we’d like to say a big thank you to the Beehive Group in Grantham for making us feel so welcome🩷

We had a lovely tuck shop restock today, and it was very much appreciated by all of our residents! 🍫🍬
There were plenty of smiles as everyone enjoyed choosing a little treat, and it made for a really positive and cheerful afternoon. It’s the small things that can bring the most joy, and today was a perfect example of that.
