My best friend Giles Ashton-Roberts is lucky enough to be running the London Marathon on Sunday, I’m lucky enough to have been appointed as Support Crew so will be cheering him on from the sidelines once the laces are tied and the gel packets pocketed! Please support Giles in this huge effort and donate to this charity which is a very close cause for him.

There was a tree down blocking Church Lane this morning. It has been reported to the Buckminster Estate. Hopefully it will be sorted without delay. Just for awareness that it has been reported and is being dealt with.

The Sewstern Village Hall 50/50 Draw for March took place on Saturday evening at The Blue Dog Inn - Sewstern

We had Chris from Woolsthorpe by Colsterworth, Eric Rhodes and everyone’s favourite bar maid, Sue, rummaging around in the ‘bag ‘o balls’ this month. And the winners are;

1st prize £25 - Number 101 - Charlotte Wesson
2nd prize £15 - Number 51 - Neil Panchmatia
3 rd prize £10 - Number 11 - Jeannie Tetstall

Well done to all our winners. Please contact the treasurer to collect your winnings.

This is the final draw for this round of 50/50. The next Roy d has yet to be coordinated and administered fully so the plan is to take a break while things are organised accordingly. Watch this space.

Thanks

Hot off the press from the Village Hall Committee meeting, as raised in the New Year post an interest was expressed for a return of Bingo. The committee are fully supportive of this and would be grateful for a volunteer who would be willing to run this on a regular or semi regular basis.
Please get in touch if interested in this!
