The Lincolnshire Nutritionist

The Lincolnshire Nutritionist Nutrition advice and lifestyle support to prevent or reverse chronic illness Hi and welcome to my page. Rebecca

I am Rebecca a registered nutritionist and functional medicine practitioner, using nutrition science to support clients with chronic health conditions back to optimal health. I specialise in supporting women struggling with symptoms of hormonal imbalances for example hypothyroidism, fibrocystic breasts, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, vaginal health, menopausal symptoms, pre-menstrual syndrome and all things regarding period health. Quite a long list of health issues affecting women and just because your doctor says it is common, does not mean it is normal. It is common because we are all facing the same stresses and strains in our lives. In order for our hormones and health to flourish women have to find the time for self-care, something many of my client’s struggle with but that is where my support and experience makes a big difference. The science and evidence base behind food and its role in preventing and reversing chronic health symptoms is growing daily. Preventative, lifestyle medicine is the future for our health, contact me today to find out more about what I do and how I can help.

The sickness bug has found its way into our house but for some weird reason is only targeting the boys 🤔.
So, I’m slow cooking b***d chicken thighs with loads of fresh herbs and garlic for immune support and I’m using bone broth for additional gut barrier support.

🍲Slow cooked, easier to digest and absorb.
🍲Nutrient dense and immune supporting.
🍲Great for recovering health.

☀️☀️ As we are slowly heading into Spring, now is the perfect time to check your vitamin D levels and see how you have faired over the Winter months.

My husband and I were lucky enough to spend two weeks in the Caribbean sun in December, I continued to supplement in January and February and my husband did not.....

The results for me were an optimal 89nmol/L ✅ but for my husband a pretty mediocre result of 59 😢

Even with 2 weeks in the sun it shows the importance of supplementing over the winter months. Vitamin D plays a vital role in supporting our immune health and reducing inflammation 🔥.

So if you want to know what your vitamin D levels are then use the link below to get a 10% discount on the medichecks vitamin D finger prick test.

Use the code LINCSNUTRITION10 in the promo code box 😁😁

Optimal levels should be between 70-100, let me know your results in the comments below.

Looking forward to reading this 🤓🤓

As if debilitating pain, extremely heavy blood loss and gaslighting by medical professionals wasn’t enough for women struggling with endometriosis. Research is showing us that this complex disease is associated with immune dysfunction and is possibly an autoimmune disease.

Listen to Jo and I talk about the many other symptoms associated with endometriosis and the role inflammation plays.

If you are thinking about reaching out for help and advice, book in for a discovery call to get to know me and the services I offer.

I was recently approached by a journalist for an interview about my story, which led me to study and now practice Nutritional therapy. It has been lovely to reflect back on my personal journey and despite the sadness that preceded everything, I have gone on to make a difference in other people's lives and will hopefully continue to do so.

What a lovely event supporting the local Grantham care festival with Farrow Friends

It was great to spread awareness of the impact of ageing on nutrition and how best to support quality of life and prevent chronic illness.

Why are you feeling exhausted all the time?

Three key areas that I explore working with low energy clients.
➡️ Thyroid function, low thyroid hormone = low energy.

➡️ Iron levels, low iron = low energy

➡️ Blood sugar levels, low blood sugar = low energy

If you are struggling with low energy and want to know more about your thyroid health, then join me and KF Therapy for the Stubton Hall wellness retreat in November.
