2025, the year that changed my life.
The year I met my son.
The year I became a mummy.
The year I learnt the most about myself.
The year I’ve had the best my relationship with my body.
The year healing truly began.
The year I slept less, but got snuggles instead.
The year my dad inspired me more than ever to keep moving. (Proud of you dad!)

The year I set no goals, no PB’s, no expectations.

The only intention I set this year was to be the best mummy I can be. A lifelong intention and I’m not sure that it can ever be measured, but it’s the most important intention I have ever set.

There have been many tears both happy, anxiety filled, frustrated at times (with myself), and sometimes sad. But there have also been so many smiles, laughs, memories and firsts 🥹

I started a new role which was unexpected, but another amazing opportunity for both growth and learning. Not all women are treated well during, or after maternity leave. I do massively count myself lucky that I have had nothing but support ♥️ thank you George and Margarita! And thank you to our amazing members for welcoming me back with open arms and so much warmth! I’m so so lucky.

I’m grateful for it all.
Grateful for the love, the support, the kindness and those who have been there through both the great and the hard moments. Thank you to my fiancé who keeps me grounded and supports me everyday, I’d be lost without you!

A year I’ll hold in my heart forever ♥️

❗️REHAB❗️
These videos are nothing ‘instagramable’ really.

Keeping it real with what my current movement looks like and a reminder that stripping things back to basics is never a bad thing.
Sometimes, less really is more 🙏

Video 1: Rollbacks, then with added rotation.
*Here I am focusing on really articulating my spine but also recruiting my pelvic floor & deeper ab muscles (transverse abs) first, before the upper layers as I still have some ab separation.

Video 2: Short Spine
*Focusing on controlling the movement throughout and at the end of the movement in particular, really focusing on my spine leading the way and not letting my legs take over! (Feels good for the hamstrings too!)

Two classical exercises that right now are really helping me and supporting my recovery from C section and SI joint niggles that have resurfaced - being hypermobile and still early PP, I need to be mindful not to overstretch!

Of course there is nothing wrong with some creative flare 😍 but for me right now, keeping things simple is doing wonders for my body and I’m so grateful for this healing process🙏♥️

Side note: I think there is a lot of negativity surrounding the post partum period. And as someone who did fear it, the main things I’d say are educating yourself (honestly made my experience way less fearful) and being kind to yourself 🫶 although there are hard days, it really can be so beautiful and healing ❤️‍🩹

Having a ball 🎉 (… see what I did there 🙊😅)

2024, you have been the best year of my life to date! Both personally and professionally. If you’d told me at the start of the year I was going to be offered a promotion, turn it down and go fully self employed, do two courses to improve my skills and fuel my mind, begin working in a dream studio, go abroad 4 times, a scheduled heart op which got cancelled after falling pregnant for the first time and get engaged in NYC at Christmas… I’d genuinely think you were having me on 😂

The beauty of all this? Not one of it I had planned or expected to happen. This year has shown me that opening your mind, your heart, being brave and trying not to control everything can literally change your life. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve done very long days, long weeks, studied and worked hard as well as taking time off and trying to keep a social life.

On the last day of our time in NYC, I cried walking down the street out of the blue. Yes, pregnancy hormones probably contributed 😂 but I had an overwhelming feeling of gratitude. I feel so incredibly blessed for everything this year. Grateful for meeting so many new people and the support from my loved ones- honestly I don’t think there are enough words 😭♥️

Not every year is a high. Not every year is what we hope for and I don’t write this forgetting about the harder times or the lows - they are what shape us and give us strength when we thought we had none. But we have to appreciate the good, and we appreciate them so much more when we’ve had those tough times.

A year I’ll never forget. Thank you to those who have made it so♥️

A 4 week series of workshops designed to help you align your training and nutrition with your menstrual cycle 🙌

This will be game changing and highlight why some weeks we can feel like superwoman and conquer more high intensity workouts 🦸‍♀️ and other weeks we need our slower, more mindful movement followed by a bath and a good book 👌

I’m excited to be collaborating with who will be focusing and sharing all her incredible knowledge and passion for this subject and how what we eat can hugely impact PMS, energy and more. I know from working with Tina last year how helpful this was for me as I have always had bad cramps! Honestly - this stuff WORKS 🙌

✨ New Workshop Series ✨

Following on from the first workshop in April, I realised that more time was needed to focus on specific areas of the body that are particularly prone to injury, lack of mobility and flexibility.

So I’ve extended it to one hour and a half per workshop which will include a handout with all the stretches and mobility exercises we do. We will focus on a specific area for each workshop and hopefully as well as feeling the benefit of the movements, you’ll learn more about the amazing human body and how you can look after yours ♥️

Very excited for what’s to come ✨🙏

There are so many benefits to moving during pregnancy, and a big takeaway from the weekend was kindness to our bodies and listening to our intuition. I find it all fascinating and honestly mind blowing what the female body does to bring life into the world♥️ to all the past, present t and future mums out there… YOU are amazing!

And I hope soon I’ll be able to create a new community & support network 🫶

A reminder how healing nature can be. How great walking is for you and how colourful life is without filters or edits 🌈

My plan of small group PT didn’t work out. My plan of a 6 week programme didn’t work out. Instead of looking at it as a negative, it’s clear now that it’s not the right direction for me anymore.

Instead I have two courses booked and I’m so excited to learn 🤩

This year I’ll be doing courses in Pregnancy Yoga, Post natal and Parent and Baby Yoga as well as a Reformer Pilates course! 🎉

I’ll still be doing PT and keeping on my current clients - but I’m really excited to have a new focus and can’t wait to share with future clients 🙏♥️

Beginning January 2024 🙌
This will take place on Saturday mornings - limited spaces 6-8 people.
£10 per person for minimum 1 hour, possibly just over depending on needs of the group 😊

Focus:
- Form/technique in lifts, confidence building, mobility and stretching.
- Conditioning, improving stamina and core strength.

Depending on numbers there is option for 9am or 10am start.

Equinox24 - such an awesome weekend with great people in a beautiful location 🙌
We had a team of 6 to do as many 10kms as possible in 24hrs.
I took away so much from this weekend!
I looked at these photos and straight away hated my legs. Then I remembered what they’d just done for me.
I beat myself for doing 2 laps instead of 3 because ‘I’m a coach, I should be able to do it’. Then I remembered - my body told me to stop to prevent a full injury.

The best part was doing it as a team knowing there was always someone at the finish line waiting for you 😊

And thank you to my dad who took my third lap and smashed it🥰

So next time you’re picking your body apart or wishing you looked like someone else or determining your self worth based on what you look like… remember how lucky we are to move our bodies and what our bodies do for us daily. We have this body for one life. Let’s love and look after it ♥️
