⁉️What suits you best?
🧘🏻♀️Hello! I'm looking at teaching Pilates/Yoga in Grantown on Spey on one morning of the week in the near future.
What do you prefer? Yoga or Pilates or a mix of both?
Which day would work best for you? Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday. (Currently I run an apparatus class on Mondays in Cromdale so if Monday is a firm favourite I could think to find another day for that class).
🙏🏻We do yoga for a wide range of physical and mental benefits. Perhaps you've found classes help with stress relief, improved flexibility, strength, balance, better sleep, reduced anxiety, and enhanced mood and hopefully also that you've had some fun! Yoga is a combination of mindful movement and breathwork and we hope you find it improves your overall sense of well-being. It can also help you physically with back health, heart health and cognitive function.
🌟We do Pilates for a number of reasons, for example to build deep core strength, improve posture, flexibility, balance, and body awareness. This can lead to reduced pain (especially back pain), better injury prevention, and enhanced overall physical and mental well-being. It's a low-impact method created by Joseph Pilates focusing on controlled, mindful movement and breath. It helps correct imbalances, strengthens stabilizing muscles, and complements other fitness activities, making daily life feel better.
💚I love teaching both Yoga and Pilates, both Matwork and using Apparatus and also small props, both in the studio on Cromdale and in the wider community in towns or villages. Our studio is peaceful and a calm away from the hustle and bustle and teaching in town also suits folks who just need a class on their doorstop. So I'm lucky to be able to do both. I'm scoping out a venue in Grantown which is spacious enough (as we don't want to be jammed in like sardines), but also cosy and warm on the colder days. If you have any ideas I'd love to hear them.☺️
💚Ping me a message.
