Earlier this month, as she celebrated her 102nd birthday, Lynemore resident Dr. Jean Munro was honoured with the Freedom of Bletchley Park for her work as a codebreaker during World War Two. Jean shared her incredible story in a podcast and short film earlier this year to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

As 2025 comes to a close, we look back on a year of progress across the Parklands group.

From opening our new 58 bed Pittyvaich care home in Inverness to launching new partnerships with Highland Hospice and Mikeysline, it has been a year marked by investment in the communities and people we serve. We have also been proud to receive multiple awards recognising our work in wellbeing, innovation and community impact and, of course, we are delighted that our sister home Eilean Dubh in Fortrose was named Regional Care Home of the Year Scotland.

Thank you to our teams, residents, families and communities for everything you do. We look forward to what 2026 will bring.
