A shout out this week to Victoria, for helping a customer recently source this amazing product for his wife who struggles with maintaining her hydration levels. Victoria a Senior Carer who has recently been promoted to Care Champion plays a vital role alongside all our Care Professionals in supporting our customers by ensuring that they receive the highest standard of care. Her dedication and passion truly makes a difference every day. In return our lovely customer picked her an amazing home grown bunch of flowers from his garden to say thank you! We all recognise the familiar feeling of being light-headed or lacking in energy because we’ve not drunk enough fluids.
These symptoms can have serious consequences if we allow them to continue.
This is especially true for older people or people with long term health conditions.
An obvious sign of dehydration is thirst. Other signs may include:
• Dry lips, mouth and skin
• Loss of appetite
• Light headedness or headaches
• Dark coloured and strong-smelling urine
Staying hydrated is vital to staying healthy. Let’s make drinking water a daily habit. 💧
