Residents have been discovering a brand new way to experience reminiscence films this week with The Way Back. 🎬

Using tablets and handy viewfinders, residents can enjoy a fully immersive 3D experience designed to spark memories, conversation and connection. It has been wonderful to see everyone exploring the films and sharing their thoughts along the way.

So far, the reviews are in and the critics at Wombwell Hall are loving it. ⭐

It is another great example of how technology can support wellbeing and meaningful engagement for our residents.

This week, our residents enjoyed a fun session of chair exercises led by our fantastic team at Wombwell

These sessions are a great way to keep active, support mobility and bring everyone together for a bit of movement and laughter. Activities like this help promote wellbeing while ensuring everyone can take part comfortably.✍️

There were plenty of smiles all round and we are already looking forward to the next session.

Celebrating Holi 🎨

Today our residents enjoyed celebrating Holi, the festival of colours, with a day full of creativity, music and delicious food.

In the lead up to the celebrations, residents created colourful artwork and posters, helping to bring the spirit of Holi into the home. The day itself included traditional music, resident homemade samosas and plenty of vibrant paint powder fun.

It was a wonderful way to celebrate culture, community and creativity together.
