A fun-filled Scarecrow Competition at Wombwell Hall! 🎃🌾

Every department got involved, bringing creativity and team spirit to life across the home. Congratulations to Team Micawber for taking 1st place and Team Maintenance for securing 2nd — though every entry was truly fantastic!

A big well done to all the teams for making it such an enjoyable and imaginative event for everyone.

A truly uplifting Saturday at Wombwell Hall!

We were delighted to welcome the wonderful Medway Can Sing Community Choir, who treated our residents and staff to a beautiful live performance.

In an incredibly thoughtful gesture, they extended their singing into the corridors to ensure our bed-bound residents could also enjoy the music and feel included.

A heartfelt thank you to the choir for bringing such joy and harmony to our home!

A “Wicked” celebration at Wombwell Hall!

As part of our Green is Good week and in celebration of our recent CQC inspection success, our amazing kitchen team pulled out all the stops with a Wicked themed party for our residents.

From specially made green smoothies and themed treats to fabulous fancy dress and plenty of laughter, it was a day filled with joy, creativity and community spirit. And of course, no Wicked party would be complete without the movie itself!

We are proud to share that Belmont Healthcare were honoured to collect three awards at Friday’s Kent Integrated Care Alliance (KiCA) Awards – and our team here at Wombwell Hall, collected not one but two of the awards!

Congratulations to:
Our Clinical Service Lead and Deputy Manager at Wombwell Hall, Hayley Grant who won the Palliative Care Award
Our Pickwick Wing team who won the Residential Care Team (OPPD) Award

And congratulations to our brilliant Finance Assistant in our Head Office team, Joseph Barnes who won ‘Ancillary Worker (Back Office) Award

This is a huge milestone for our Northfleet-based home and a true reflection of our team’s dedication to delivering high-quality, compassionate care, especially for those living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and complex needs.

With our new £5.5M dementia care facility now open, we’re continuing to raise the bar in specialist residential and nursing care.

On Sunday, the team were at The Mela Festival in Tunbridge Wells...

The rain stopped by the afternoon ... the sun came out and we were very happy for the rest of the day.

We made some really interesting connections during the event and we look forward to keeping in touch with those businesses so that we can help each other in true community spirit!😁
