A busy residential home for the elderly is currently looking to add to its maintenance/gardening team.

We are looking for someone to work three days a week, one of these days will be predominantly outside work in our large gardens.

Duties will include the following for the outside area:
Cutting the grass
De weeding and cleaning the garden areas
General gardening duties - fence repairs, painting etc.
Maintaining flowers and plants

Inside areas:
General ad hoc small maintenance tasks/general repairs
Moving stock/deliveries
Ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times
Driving residents to appointments after training

This role requires a full DBS clearance to be obtained, and the requirement to adhere to our training policy, with 10 mandatory online training courses to be completed.

A background in a similar role would be ideal; the ability to engage with both staff and residents is extremely important.

A driver's license is required due to the requirement to drive residents to appointments.

Hours are flexible to the suitable candidate and can be discussed at the interview stage, but this would be for around 18-24 hours per week.
