🌼 Yippee! It’s officially spring.

We’re looking forward to longer days, fresh air and more time outdoors — perfect for curious toddlers who love to run, climb, explore and discover.

Sunlight helps support healthy growth and provides essential Vitamin D, while time outside encourages movement, confidence and adventure.

⏰ Don’t forget — the clocks go forward tonight.

Changes in routine can sometimes affect toddler sleep, so take it one day at a time and keep bedtime calm and predictable.

Here are a few simple ways to support your toddler’s wind-down:

💛 Movement
Give toddlers plenty of time to run, climb and explore during the day so their bodies are ready for rest.

💛 Sight
Dim the lights and close curtains 30–60 minutes before bedtime to help signal that it’s time to slow down.

💛 Sound
A familiar bedtime song, story or calming music can help toddlers settle into their evening routine.

💛 Routine
Keep bedtime consistent — a bath, story and cuddle can help toddlers feel safe, calm and ready for sleep.

Here’s to a fresh new season full of adventure, discovery… and hopefully a little more sleep too 😉💛

Did you know your child’s sense of smell is strongly linked to memory?

Smells experienced in early infancy can trigger powerful emotional memories later in life. In fact, no other sense has the same connection to emotion and memory.

In our latest blog, we explore how the sense of smell develops in babies and toddlers — and the many ways little ones use it to discover and learn about the world around them.

From exploring new environments to recognising familiar scents, smell plays an important role in early sensory learning.

🌼 SPRING!

Say hello to the sun…
I love the sun, because the sun warms me.

Say hello to the flowers…
I love the flowers, because they gladden me.

Today marks the Spring Equinox — the moment when day and night are almost equal in length and the season begins to turn toward brighter, longer days.

For centuries, cultures around the world have celebrated this time as a season of renewal, growth and new beginnings.

And for little ones, spring brings so many new things to notice and explore.
💚 The warmth of sunlight.
💚 The movement of leaves and shadows.
💚 The colours of flowers beginning to bloom.

Whether they’re discovering these moments in Baby Sensory® or Toddler Sense®, this season is full of wonder for growing babies and curious little explorers.

And as the days grow longer, don’t forget — the clocks go forward next weekend (Sunday 29 March). ⏰

Supporting babies and families from the very start.
Celebrating 20 years of Baby Sensory® wonder, learning & love — and the continued adventures of Toddler Sense® as children grow and explore. ✨

😊 Today is the International Day of Happiness.

For toddlers, happiness often comes from the simplest moments — jumping, exploring, giggling, discovering something new, or cuddling up with someone they love.

And for parents, those same little moments can mean everything too.

We’re sharing a few simple ideas to help support happiness and wellbeing for both toddlers and their grown-ups.

Because happiness doesn’t have to be big or complicated — sometimes it’s just a walk outside, a game together, or sharing laughter with other families.

At Toddler Sense®, we love creating spaces where little explorers can move, play and discover — while parents connect and share the adventure too.

💛 What is one small thing your toddler did this week that made you smile?

🌷 Happy Mother’s Day from Toddler Sense®

Little feet that stomp and run,
Climbing, jumping — so much fun.
Giggles, wiggles, up they go,
Curious minds that want to know.

Busy hands that build and explore,
“Watch me, Mum!” — and then once more.
Every tumble, every cheer,
You’re their biggest fan all year.

These toddler days are loud and bright,
Full of wonder, joy and delight.
And right beside each leap and spin,
Is the love that helps them grow within. 💛💙

Today we celebrate the mums, carers and special grown-ups who make these adventurous toddler years so full of magic.

And for anyone who may find today difficult, we’re thinking of you too. 💛💙

What’s one funny thing your toddler did this week? Tell us below — we love hearing your stories! 💛💙

Little hands are always busy. 👐

Toddlers develop important hand and finger skills through everyday play — using toys, exploring objects, and doing simple tasks like brushing their teeth or taking off their shoes and socks.

These small moments help build the coordination and precision they’ll need later for activities like drawing, writing and creating.

When adults provide plenty of opportunities for hands-on play — and encourage toddlers as they try new things — those little skills grow stronger every day.

Because for toddlers, learning really does happen through play. 💛

Happy International Women's Day!

IWD 2026...

More than mum.
More than a business.
More than “just” running sessions.

Across our local team, we are women building something beautiful together — as part of WOW World Group, and for the thousands of new mums and families we welcome and support in classes across South East London, East London and Kent.

In halls, community spaces and venues, we lift kit, lead rooms, keep children engaged and support families — and each other. Showing up, setting examples, and being role models in our communities in ways we don’t always stop to notice.

We work hard. We keep going. And yes — we kick butt while we do it. Because running sessions is only part of the story. We’re marketers, organisers, finance managers, planners, customer support, problem-solvers, diary jugglers… however many hats the day needs, we wear them.

Boots full of kit.
Set up. Pack down. Repeat.
Weather doing its thing.
Timetables, traffic, real life.
Set up. Pack down. Repeat.
Life happening in between.

Behind the scenes, it’s the things people don’t see that matter just as much…
💚 Checking in
💙 Voice notes
💛 Everyday problem-solving (and sometimes last-minute SOS!)
🧡 Friendship
🤍 Making sure no one carries the hard days alone

Celebrating 20 years of Baby Sensory®, and the continued growth of Toddler Sense®.
Supporting families. Supporting each other. Growing together.

Between us, our team brings over 200 years of experience across Baby Sensory® and Toddler Sense® — but it’s never just been about what we know. It’s how we back each other, encourage each other, grow together — and model that for the women around us too.

Determined.
Tenacious.
Resilient.
Creative.
Smart.
Enterprising.
Kind.
Supportive.
Sisterhood.

We are WOW World women.
