Today, our senior visitors at the Pineapple Care Services Ltd engaged in a range of activities such as arts and crafts flower arrangements, a "Simon Says" armchair workout, other fun sessions, and one-to-one chats. Everyone enjoyed hot drinks and biscuits while welcoming KS, a new member, along with her lovely carer. This session featured fun and relatable activities for everyone.

Pineapple Care are currently looking to recruit an experienced Learning support Assistant with an aptitude to working with younger adults. We require you to be creative and able to engage, enabling our student to excel. The main aspects of this role will be to provide support for a younger adult with complex needs to access Specialist Further Education. This role involves supporting the individual to access a tailored course and increase opportunity with the use of a mobile grid player offering quick responses during a range of activities; including specific Education based exercises, social activities or leisure based settings. We require you to assist, maintain and develop current skills providing motivation and encouragement.

To provide 1-1 Education delivery to ensure consistent levels of Grid Player access and recording of outcomes
• Teaching, Learning and Assessment activities which include supporting the use of the mobile Grid-Player
• You will assist the student in a number of activities to include bespoke tasks prompting use of the Grid- Player
• Share all outcomes with the students staff and family to ensure continued use of the device throughout the week
• Follow an Individual Learning Plan, record and track progress
• Update the students written/typed portfolio
• Assist the student with the ASDAN ‘Life-Skills Challenge’ achieving suitable accreditation
