Interesting day in clinic today finding a osteoma👂

👂An osteoma is a type of benign (non-cancerous) bone tumor.

👂In the ear canal, it appears as a bony-hard, skin-covered mass that can partially or completely block the canal.

👂These growths can be asymptomatic however If the osteoma is large enough, it can cause symptoms like hearing loss, ear fullness, and tinnitus.

If your lucky enough to be going holiday, don’t forget to get your ears cleaned.
