On Monday, we returned the New Year with a refresher of our adult cardiac arrest protocol. Here, Spencer and Will had to bring a patient out of a confined space to treat them properly.

We practice regularly to ensure we are able to work effectively in a life threatening situation.

We’re back at Lakeside for the final day of Save a Life September, teaching CPR to members of the public and raising vital funds for our charity. Come along and learn how to save a life! 10-4 today, outside Primark Level 2

Tomorrow, we'll be back at Lakeside for our final weekend of Save a Life September 2024, where we'll be showing members of the publc how to perform vital life saving CPR and use of a automated defibrillator.

Our team will be ready to answer any questions you may have, including about joining St John Ambulance as a volunteer!

We’re back today at Lakeside teaching CPR as part of our Save a Life September campaign! An astonishing 110 people taught yesterday, can we increase that number today? Come and join us to be part of learning a life saving skill!

We’ll be at Lakeside on the 15th September for the annual Emergency Services Day! We’ll be bringing along some manikins for you to learn CPR and the safe use of AEDs, alongside an Ambulance* and a Community Support Unit to show you what we are raising money for this year!

We’re at Lakeside today and tomorrow, on the ground floor beside Lakeland, as part of our campaign, giving free lessons in CPR and use of AEDs. Come along and learn, you never know when you may need this skill!

Our fantastic volunteers put their dedication into action yesterday at Horndon on the Hill Feast and Fayre, managing a rather complex incident in conjunction with Essex County Fire and Rescue Service, East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust and Essex Police.

Thank you to the members of public who supported our work in a difficult situation.

Yesterday, Alan and Ash were at a community fundraising event, supporting Lura and her incredible story of calling 999 and staying calm when her brother suffered a febrile convulsion.

Meanwhile, other volunteers assisted in Horndon on the Hill Feast and Fayre and we return today to support their 10km run and the rest of the great day!
