Struggling with sleep? Waking up groggy and exhausted? 😩 You’re not alone! Sleep is the ultimate energy reset, but many women over 40 find it harder to fall and stay asleep.

Here are 3 surprising reasons your sleep might be suffering and how to fix it :

1️⃣ Blood Sugar Rollercoaster 🎢 – Late-night snacks high in sugar or refined carbs can spike your blood sugar, leading to a 3 AM crash that wakes you up.
Fix: Swap sugary snacks for a protein-rich bedtime snack like almonds or eat a balanced diet to feel satiated.

2️⃣ Cortisol Stays High ☕ – Too much caffeine or stress can keep your body in "fight or flight" mode.
Fix: Cut caffeine after 2 PM, or opt for coffee alternatives like Dandelion, Chicory and wind down with deep breathing or herbal tea.

3️⃣ Your Gut is Talking! 🦠 – Poor gut health can cause inflammation and disrupt melatonin production.
