Let’s talk.

When was the last time you paused to really reflect on your daily thoughts and choices?

Here’s the question I want you to sit with today:
Whose mind are you actually living in?

When you unpack your values, habits, lifestyle, and the reasons behind your decisions—are they truly yours? Or are they shaped by how others might see you?

Ask yourself:
šŸ‘— Are you wearing those clothes for you or for someone else’s approval?
šŸ’¼ Are you in that job for your fulfillment—or someone else’s expectations?
šŸŽØ Is your home decorated to reflect your taste—or what you think others want to see?
šŸ‘¶ Are you raising your children in a way that works for you and them—or based on other people’s opinions?

Sometimes, we don’t realize we’re living through someone else’s lens until we stop and look closely.

Be honest with yourself. Ask the questions you’ve avoided.
Start living in your mind, your truth, your life.
That’s where freedom and joy really begin. 🌱

Well walks followed by wholesome breakfasts.

Sundays are days where I allocate a few hours, usually the afternoon to food prep’ Not only for myself, but for my growing teenaged boys.

Getting them involved in this process (reluctantly on their behalf at times) gives me the chance to teach them how to put a meal together and talk on the importance of nutrition.

I often hear, ā€˜mam your so boring, I’m not doing it, I’m not bothered’ 🤣🤣🤣

Normal language from teenagers isn’t it šŸ™ˆšŸ™ˆ however I will keep trying to expose them to these necessary skills. I won’t give up 🤣

And importantly for our reality - cooking on a tight budget is a skill we need to get good and creative with.

Mindful cooking and eating is so beneficial to our hectic lives.

Anyone got any tips on nutritious meals on a budget?

And a good morning to you. How is your Sunday morning rise going? My rise habits have involved coffee (in bed 🤭) I like the organic clipper instant coffee, no jitters ā˜ŗļø

Followed by a new read. I read something uplifting, inspiring or personal development driven. Excellent to shifting your mindset towards positive thinking.

Now for my morning walk. I can’t stress enough the benefits of being outside enough, in all the weathers. I love the feeling the great outdoors bring. The calm and connection.

How are you spending your Sunday morning?

This morning I have written down that I am going to be investing more of my time into my page. Get better at building a community and connecting with other’s.
