the treatment of acute and chronic neck and back pain, sporting injuries and joint hypermobility. Claire trained at the Royal London Hospital, is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP),and of Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She has over 20 years experience and was a senior NHS clinician before working the the private sector for the past 15 years. She holds a Licentiate of Acupuncture, and is an advanced member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. She worked off-shore in oil rigs and the North Sea with BP. She is an ex-Honorary Physiotherapist of the British Judo Association, having traveled with the squad around Europe and to the Commonwealth Games. In 2013, Claire was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the Chartered Society for her voluntary work for them.She currently is the Essex Regional Officer for PhysioFirst, sits on their Education Committee and also the Research and Development committee of the CSP. She keeps up to date by regularly attending cutting edge evidence based practice lectures. She is registered with Bupa and other major health companies. Claire Oldroyd, Director of Great Bardfield Physiotherapy Practice Ltd ( GBPP) believes in individual personalised assessments and treatment plans for her patients varying in age from children to seniors, with sporting injuries,neck and back problems, and other musculoskeletal injuries , whether acute or chronic. Great Bardfield Physiotherapy Practice has been in Great Bardfield since 2003, and has built up a rapport with local and not so local residents as well as local GP's.
