Ever wondered why your midwife asks you if you would like your baby to receive Vitamin K at birth?

Your midwife will discuss this with you during your antenatal appointments from 34 weeks. You do not need to make a decision before birth, but it may be helpful to include your choice on your birth plan in preparation for your little one’s arrival.

Our amazing MCA Orla runs an infant feeding cafe every Tuesday at our Dunmow Community Clinic! 👶🏼🐣

Due to increasing popularity, we can only see babies up to 3 months of age. Please ask your midwife or health visitor for more feeding support in your local area.

If you are a first-time parent 32+ weeks pregnant who has not accessed any private antenatal education before, then our classes might be for you 📝✏️📚

Midwives Lina and Emily offer two evening sessions a month coving key content around labour, birth and the postnatal period.

Our August class dates have now been released! Thank you everyone for your patience whilst we have sorted out our schedule.

These classes are for first time parents who are 32+ weeks and haven’t undertaken any private antenatal education. They take place over two weekday evenings with midwives Lina and Emily, who will cover crucial topics like signs of labour, pain relief, birth and caring for baby.

Please ensure you are available for both evenings - you are welcome to bring a birth partner for support!
