has been making choice boards for a little boy, using his favourite snacks and TV shows! 🍌📺

📣Choices are shown visually rather than relying on verbal language only
📣Provides alternative means to make choices
📣Reduces frustration when he can't get his message across or what he wants isn't easily expressed

Home have got stuck in & reported he is already using them to choose and will copy Mum when she models them to him both through pointing and verbalising the words!

⭐From pointing at the TV/taking an adult to what snack he wants to attempting to verbalise words!! ⭐

Alice has got stuck in now that her registration has come through & look at what she's been up to!

⭐Targeting 's, sh and z' with a CYP who presents with nasal fricatives!
⭐Starting with producing the sounds in isolation and word initial whilst turn taking with the puppet
⭐The puppet encouraged more productions & helped to shift the demands away from the CYP
🐊Quick fire drills with the chomping crocodile! If it chomps down, move onto the next sound!
⏳In just 20 mins, they had managed over 35 productions of each target sound!!!!!
