Yesterday I offended someone, by explaining the difference between synthetic hormones and bio-identical.
Then I was asked, 'why don't you dye your grey hair? You look so old'. Thanks Aunty Ji π
Then another Aunti Ji said 'you don't die your hair, well at least your husband is grey too' π
But back to hormones, I am sharing this as it has come to my attention that some women opting for HRT are not aware of the differences. Lets go...π
Synthetic hormones are made in the lab, they are not identical to your own. And PREMARIN is from pregnant mares. AND it contains over 50 estrogens π΄
I would like to know why are we USING animals? Why?
Then I would like to know which woman's detox system can handle so many estrogens from a pregnant mare?
HRT can be life saving for some women, but before bio-identicals or before body-identicals I was personally opposed to HRT, for one, the pregnant mares and secondly I personally believe you would need some extra livers, kidneys, ureters lymphatic systems, to boot. π₯
Difference between bio and body identical.
Body-identical is regulated by the government (is this good thing or not, your choose π) and they come in a specific dose for all women and specific bases (such as alcohol gels etc) and these at the moment are an estrogen and progesterone.
Bio-identical are blended for the individual, this can include progestrone, testosterone, DHEA, as well as various types of estrogens, in different forms, gels, pills etc
Whatever you choose, know what you are taking, ask the prescribing doctor questions, find out about the benefits versus not the benefits.
But remember most of the research on HRT hormones is on synthetics.
HRT has shown to be beneficial for bone health and cardiovascular health.
Did you know the difference between all 3?
But either way look after the pension plan (in my recent video).
Let me know, so I am not just 'preaching to the converted', and I can do a series on Aunti Ji's instead β€οΈ
