Frankincense Green Clay mask

I’m so excited to share my new frankincense green clay face mask!
I will be making this new face mask recipe during the full moon. If you want one please let me know and I’ll make sure to make enough!
PM to order one, it’s £20 for the pot.

I’m using only organic sustainable ingredients, French green clay, frankincense resin that I freshly ground myself, distilled frankincense water and frankincense essential oil.

Aside from the amazing skin properties of frankincense to rejuvenate the skin, slow down aging etc. This tree resin is a sacred spirit, it brings direct connection to the realm of the divine and channels lights in our heart so I really love working with it and connecting with her and her amazing fragrance.

French green clay draws out toxins from the skin, brighten the skin, helps accelerate healing and balance the skin microbiome. I use green clay all the time in my practice to remove deep thorns, heal burns, purge abscesses and plenty more.

Each cell of our bodies carries an "imprint" (called Limbic Imprint) that begins to establish as a baby/foetus in our mother ‘s womb. If our emotional body is overwhelmed during this formative period, then a lifetime of ineffective coping strategies and behavioural patterns will ensue. Our imprints govern our emotional selves and often override our rational thinking mind. They are at the root of self-sabotage, and hinder happiness and freedom, inhibiting self-expression in sometimes subtle, but often overt ways.

The Birth Into Being (BIB) Method directly addresses this by transforming our Limbic Imprint, thus allowing us to access the intelligence of nature's creative Power.

The method interweaves epigenetics and neuroplasticity with the richness of storytelling, visualization, breath-work, role-play, gentle touch and dancing. In this workshop BIB with a plant ally, we have the special addition of working with a plant, to meet the plant spirit and invite healing from the plant. You will be able to continue working with that plant after the workshop to continue the weaving of that supportive relationship. Plants are amazing allies to work with, they highlight in each of us different parts that need to release trauma.

Are you ready to break trough old pattern and get rid of what no longer serves you? To recover a true connection to your higher self. Create new reference points of emotional comfort aligned with your conscious intentions. Strengthen your sense of belonging and well-being. Gain new reference points in your nervous system for greater ability of intimacy and creativity. Invoke your inner 'Elder' - your deepest Wisdom as your constant companion.

- 30min herbal consultation £35
o This is recommended for acute conditions such as colds, flu, ear infection, burns, injury, eczema or hay fever, UTI

With each consultation I will give you some diet advice and lifestyle recommendation

Any herbal remedies will be at an additional charge (tincture £12.5 per 100ml, tea £6.50 per 40gr…), Usually I will dispense 200-300ml tincture that will last 2-3 weeks

INNER WORK WITH A PLANT

- 50min - £60
- 25min - £35

Meet a plant, her spirit, her energy and enter into a dialogue with that plant to listen to what she can invite on your healing journey.

During the session we work sitting or laying down with a piece of fresh plant or a tea, usually a local plant (Nettle, Rose, Sage etc..), and journey through a meditative state with the plant to listen to in and begin a journey with the plant.

This is at the core of my work; I do not believe that any disease or ailment can be looked as a mere mechanical dysfunction from our body and mind. As I understand it, the body is communicating with us and needs to be heard to enable deep healing, and release the trauma or energy that shifted us out balance. This holistic approach invites deep introspection of ourselves from the time we were conceived to the present, ancestral and past life exploration.

Plants are amazing allies that help bring forth our silent parts, so that we can listen and reconnect to our true-self to move forward.

Lovely meeting everyone with the plant today at Deer Spirit event. Can’t wait to see you in Aylesbury in 2 weeks ❤️

Hey lovelies

I’ve just finished writing a 12 pagers handout for the herbal course this Saturday. I’m actually quite proud 😂 and just realised that those attending are in for a real treat!

This is a rare opportunity to learn how to forage together and also learn the alchemy of turning plants into tinctures and balms that we will make together.

The handout will provide all the treatment plans to deal with fever, colds/flu, vomiting, diarrhoea, sinusitis, tonsillitis, ear infection, chest infection and how to prepare your immune system. And how to prepare your own home pharmacy ahead of autumn, the plants are ready now for harvest so this is really a good time to prepare!

I will also give you all the details how to use these plants internally and the appropriate dose, it’s actually really hard to find proper information out there and know how to use plant in the correct dose to make a difference between medicine or food.
It can also be quite scary and most people will tend to take too little for the plant to work at a medicinal level.
Safety is always important though and as the eclectic used to say « it’s not the thing but the dose that makes the poison »!

My heart calling is to empower you to listen in and intuitively become your own healer.

Each cell of our bodies carries an "imprint" (called Limbic Imprint) that begins to establish as a baby/foetus in our mother ‘s womb. This week we will finish preparing the strawberries, make some natural nettle comfrey fertiliser and wood chip around them, and rebuild their structure.
We will be discussing various fertilising technique and soil enhancement techniques.

If we have time and enough hands to help we might also plant the tomorrows vine in then Polytunnel and cut the w**d down in the allotment with our Japanese blades.

Recap on last session :
We chopped the w**ds in the Polytunnel to prepare the soil for planting and give space for the self seeding plant to grow. A few amazing facts I found a big patch of white flies that had invaded the nettles and left the cabbages and kale alone, and some black aphids were on the thistle and next to it the cabbage and broccoli were intact. Amazing to see that leaving the w**ds as part of the ecosystem doing the protection against these little insects that can devastate crops of veggies.
We also chopped the w**ds in half of the allotment. Harvested some lovely rhubarb and giant garlic (they looked like leeks).

Come and hand shear our sheep this Thursday (free volunteering session)

There has been some interest expressed to come and experience hand shearing sheep at our smallholding- so I’m opening a free session this Thursday from 10-1pm so you can experience this and take away some wool with you. Message me if you want to join, limited space to 6 persons.
You will be working in pairs, taking turn in holding the sheep and shearing.

Hand shearing is the traditional practice before electric equipment was invented to shear sheep. The advantages of continuing this slightly more time consuming practice is that it doesn’t stress the animal as much as it’s not noisy or producing the very strong vibration electrical shears produce. it also cuts the wool further away from the skin so it’s more natural and beneficial to their health while the modern method can sometimes give them a temperature shock.

Our sheep is a very old breed, they are Icelandic sheep and have not been modified or bred for one purpose like most sheep in the farming industry, they date from the Vikings, who kept them for milk, meat and wool. they come in a variety of colours (white, beige, brown, grey, black), some without horns, 2 horns or even 4 horns!
Because they haven’t been genetically bred over the years they tend to be more resilient and require very little care during lambing seasons.

Primrose

Have you ever met Primrose?

I invite you to come and join me in a circle with primrose as our plant guide and ally.

We will explore how to meet this plant through mindfulness, connection to yourself, slowing right down to this plant pace to meet her spirit, and discover what she might invite or highlight in yourself.

Primrose is one of the first flower of Spring, a sign of hope that warmth and light is around the corner; her flowers look so delicate and yet she can pierce through snow and still bloom in frost, her roots always remain and never die, whether silent or sleeping or simply watching quietly always ready to spring back out of the ground next season. This little plant is very powerful, in my last journey with her, I had strong feelings of nostalgia, hope, joy and sadness, like an ancient grandmother very nurturing she brought me grounding and showed me how to face my pain with hope and strength.

If you are curious to meet primrose and what she might bring out for you come and join next Thursday 13th of April 10-1pm

These herbal balm are completely natural, made from medicinal herbs (yarrow, linden, rose, lavender…) that I harvest myself macerated in organic virgin olive with a little bit of beeswax to make the lovely buttery texture. The beeswax come from our own hives (we don’t collect the honey, we just get the wax when the bees decide to abscond/ leave the hive).

The balm is very rich so only little is needed and will last a long way. It can be used on the body or face or hands.

Sharing a lovely chai and/or coffee, and each left with a small harvest of potatoes, Jerusalem artichoke, okas, lamb lettuce, chicory and cleaver (for a cold infusion).
I really enjoyed our group passion and energy so thank you to you all for coming. ❤️🙏

Today we talked about various compost and soil
-dead leaves - stacked in a compartment to break down within a year and be used for seedling soil (can be mixed with 1/3 of sand to help with drainage)
- hot compost from
Vegetables wasted/w**ding/grass cutting - wood chips/dead leaves/ cardboard to harvest ready soil in less than 18 days
Lovely soil to use in allotment to keep building up the soil in no dig approach

- horse manure that can be used from 6months if mixed with hay or other carbon material ( mainly used on brassicas or other potatoes and avoided for salad or raw veggies due to the risk of worm’s contamination)
- chicken manure - which is one of the most acidic and we barely use at the farm because we have so many others manure that comes handy first- but could be used after breaking down for 2-3 year and mixed with wood chips or other brown material
- sheep or alpaca poo that can be used straight away - we mainly use it on our fruit trees but it could also be used for potatoes and brassica or other nitrogen hungry plants
