To keep it brief I’m looking to start a weekly buggy run group in Lowestoft likely to be at 09:30 starting down the seafront initially, however also open to non buggy runners who want a place to start/return to running as new parents.

Anyone who knows me knows running is my passion through good times and bad it has been my way to help myself physically and mentally! I would love to share this with others and help people get back to running in such a hard stage in life!

Buggy runners would need to have a suitable buggy eg: buggy spec for running by manufacturer, 5 point harness etc.

Please let me know if you or someone you know is interested and help me spread the word, looking to start in September

*Delay with pathology results*

The pathology department located at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, which tests blood and other samples from GP practices across Norfolk and Waveney, has been experiencing delays since 29th July 2025, due to a change in IT system. Systems are now fully up and running. However, disruption caused by the digital switch-over is leading to delayed reporting of some non-urgent results to GP practices.

If you are waiting for the results of a test you have had, you may have to wait longer than normal for this to be reported. Please bear this in mind if chasing routine samples but do contact the practice if you have an urgent or worsening problem.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by these delays. The pathology and IT teams are working hard to rectify the issues and deal with the backlog of testing.

Please bear with us. The practice network is down, this means the practice is unable to book appointments via telephone or our website or face to face. This is being looked into urgently by the network provider. Other practices in Norfolk and Waveney are also affected.

From today, GP practices are permitted to prescribe Mounjaro

Please note that we are not currently able to prescribe this 🚫

This is because our local NHS Integrated Care Board, has not yet approved the service for GP practices in our area

When we receive an update , we will share this with our patients
