Since qualifying I have worked as a mental health practitioner in a range of settings with all ages. My background is working with people who have serious and enduring mental health conditions. More recently I have trained and qualified as an Emotion Freedom Technique (EFT) practitioner. All support I offer will be using EFT along side other interventions such as acceptance and commitment therapy,

EFT tapping can reduce the symptoms of PTSD. Many studies show that those who received EFT treatment had significantly less psychological distress and PTSD symptoms than those who were on a waiting list for treatment. EFT sends soothing signals to the brain, lowering cortisol, the stress hormone commonly elevated in people with PTSD and C-PTSD. I have lots of experience with working with those who experience trauma symptoms and I have found that EFT reduces the destress so much more quickly then other therapies.
