Black Friday is often associated with consumerism and deep discounts, but as a business focused on making a meaningful impact, we’ve chosen to take a different path.

While major retailers slash prices, our priority remains steadfast in supporting those affected by cancer. By donating a percentage of our net profits to two dedicated charities, we aim to provide essential aid to individuals and families navigating the difficult journey of cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Our decision not to participate in Black Friday sales reflects our commitment to fostering long-term benefits over short-term gains.

Moving forward, we are determined to amplify awareness about cancer and the incredible work these charities do to support those in need.

By choosing to support our mission, you are contributing to a cause that prioritizes compassion and community over competition.

Thank you for being here with us. We are incredibly grateful for the support you show independent businesses like ours.

Exciting news!!

We now stock kids gift products too! We know that it’s not just adults that can be affected by cancer or other chronic illnesses within our family community.

The products are great to use whether at home or whilst visiting family members and easy to take around with you and can help occupy little minds.

This afternoon, I have attended the local Together Against Cancer (TAC) meeting. We get together every 6 weeks to discuss all things Cancer, whether it’s things that may be of interest to those going through Cancer, changes to legislation nationwide and also opportunities and new services that will be implemented in the local area.

Introducing children into Journalling is a great way to let them express their emotions and feelings without any pressure of actually talking to someone whether it’s a family member, care worker, teacher or other supportive role.

It can be a starting point to share the good things or the bad things that may be happening in their lives and a way for them to reflect each day as it happens.

How Crazy is it, that it has been almost 8 weeks since I last posted on any platform? And believe me, I wanted to share what was happening, but it just didn’t feel right – I want this to be a place of authenticity and not forced. I felt burnt out and overwhelmed. I hid rather than continue. I had lost my real purpose and felt that I was letting everyone down.
Writing this now feels like the right time and right place to take that step forward again, it feels surreal, but I am so ready to start giving the cancer community and wider space a shake that it needs to change.

For those that don’t know me, my name is Donna, and I founded almost 18 months ago following my journey of a Bone Cancer diagnosis in 2020.

From reflecting on my own experience and talking to others also on the Cancer journey we felt there was a much-needed gap in mental health support not just to the individual but also to those around them that help and support on a day-to-day basis.

We have collaborated with a few independent UK Businesses such as , , , , and .uk to name a few.
By posting and sharing this today, I wanted to show why. I want to share this vulnerability, what it is like as a cancer patient but also ways to step forward and still be a genuine human being who wants to live life.

It’s so good to see you again.

And I am so excited about what this new chapter will bring.
