Superb Nordic Walk this morning. Meeting at a chilly Caister Lifeboat and heading along the beach towards Scratby and wonderful sunshine ! The sea was really calm and the beach was firm in parts and super soft in others which really got the old heart rate going. Loads of chatting and learning about the use of gold bars and coins in Candy Crush was very educational !. A good warm up and cool down will hopefully minimise any aches tomorrow. We will be breaking for two Sundays for a major birthday and Easter..Thank You..Happy Easter !

Glorious Nordic Walk this morning along the Norfolk Coastal path. The beach was perfect and we set a great pace down past the Wellington Pier. It was lovely to have some sunshine despite it being chilly. Great coming back along the promenade with lots of banter and chatting..Thank You

A huge thank you to Rupert Lowe MP for taking the time to visit us today. I was expecting a quick 15‑minute drop‑in, but he and Jonathan stayed for a full hour, chatting with our volunteers and customers.

We spoke openly about the realities and challenges of running a CIC, and how organisations like ours can make a real difference in supporting local communities.

There’s been a lot happening recently, and Mr. Lowe and his team have consistently offered support and guidance, something we’re truly grateful for.

He was genuinely interested in our plans to expand our Nordic Walking projects, getting people into nature and active…Hopefully we can get his ‘polls’ moving in the right direction !

After meeting him properly today, I found him genuinely inspiring, and I’m delighted to have had the opportunity.

‘Message In A Bottle’

What a great this morning..Caister to California..really cold at the start…but some classic warm ups including the newly invented‘Victoria Twist’ soon got us going..The beach was really firm and easy going with the wind behind us..100’s of cuttlefish shells and a ‘message in a bottle’ spotted by eagle eyed Victoria which was really exciting…sadly not a treasure map..but a somewhat sad message of hopelessness from someone who seems to have blown their chance with Harriet and hoped a letter in a bottle could resolve what is no doubt a personally challenging situation…We will do our best to track down Harriet….As always lots of chatting and laughs…Thank You all..

It was a bracing start to 26 this morning for our first group of the new year..we went down to Caister Lifeboat along a perfect beach..even the seals didn’t seem to pop there heads out of the water as it was pretty chilly…the gloves were staying firmly on so not many pictures but all in all a great start to the year..
