We aim to ensure that every funeral we have the honour of arranging is completely as a family would want it.

Recently we have been able to offer something a little different which was exactly what some of our families wanted and needed, which we could accommodate.

Our service room at Apollo House became a place where a family gathered, shared cuppas, biscuits, music and memories without a formal service yet before their loved one left for cremation.

We provided all of the above and facilitated the time, space and care to allow the families to say goodbye in their own way and it felt very special.

We are here to help, however that looks for your family.

With 2025 coming to an end we would like to send love to all the families we have supported and to remind you that we are still here for a chat or a cuppa should you need us in the new year and beyond.

Jen and Jay have become the owners and directors of East Coast Funerals in Lowestoft.

We always feel so totally honoured to assist families with their loved ones funeral arrangements and with that in mind and with us wanting to be able to help more families, this will enable us to do just that.

As with Murrants, we are truly independent, offering personal and bespoke funerals with all the care and attention our community is used to from us.

We are so touched that our memory tree at St Mary's church in Martham has been so popular and we have been asked for it to stay until after Christmas.

We have re stocked the tags so please do add one if you visit.

We have been involved in our local community in the lead up to Christmas, adding our memory trees to different chapels and churches for you to add a tag to remember your loved one.

All a little different but special in their own way.

We have added a memory tree into the Ormesby St Margaret church Christmas tree festival....please do visit all the incredible trees from local people and businesses and maybe add a tag to the memory tree for your loved one.

With the beginning of grief awareness week we want to remind everyone that the only 'normal ' thing about how someone grieves is that there is no 'normal'.

Grief and bereavement is an individual journey and as a reminder, we are here if you need us. Whether a cuppa, chat, or just for someone else to listen our phones are always manned and you are welcome to pop in and see us.

We are jointly hosting our 2nd annual Remembering service with Elizabeth from Ormesby Baptist Church.

It's an informal, comfortable afternoon with a chance to sing a few carols, have a mince pie and this year listen to Jay sing a piece of reflection music.

Our team will be contributing readings and remembering people by reading their names.

Yesterday we helped out at a service for a lovely family at this beautiful church, St Nicholas in Wrentham.

With Jay providing music in church and Jen pall bearing it's always a pleasure to join other professionals to ensure a family is able to say a special goodbye to their loved one.

Today we were lucky enough to be invited to see Ormesby Manor and discuss working together to provide bespoke and beautiful wakes for families we look after, with the option of having a small funeral there too.

From incredibly personal service and lovely people, through to the option of including stunning accommodation for extended family, we were very impressed by their offering, everything is finished to an extremely high standard.

We can work with their team to provide a bespoke and intimate gathering for families, where you can visit the manor ahead to discuss your requirements.

You will see from our photos how unique this place is. Absolutely stunning from top to bottom.
