On Tuesday, we were honoured to care for Skye and her family. It was a bitterly cold day, but what a spectacle it was.

I recall getting to the house and commenting how the sun had come out for her, and Skye’s family said that her favourite film was Frozen, so the snow and ice was particularly appropriate!

When we arrived at the crematorium, everyone commented on how the grounds looked so magical, all covered in white.

Many thanks to the team at Memoria Waveney Memorial Park and Crematorium for their help, and to Pegasus Horse Drawn Carriages for the superb team of horses who were so well behaved and immaculately turned out, as always.

Sleep tight, Skye. You were so loved.

2025 comes to a close. Time to pause and reflect on what has been a busy year in an ever changing profession.

I'd like to express my thanks to all at Jary's who dedicate so much time and effort into ensuring that our families get the very best of what we can provide - we couldn't do it without you.

I'd also like to thank everyone who has supported us, or who we've been able to support, from our friends and colleagues within the profession, to our local churches, ministers, celebrants, cemeteries and crematoria.

As Christmas draws ever closer, I'd just like to say thank you to all who've entrusted us with their loved ones care throughout 2025, and allowed us to play a part in the final chapter of their loved one's story.

I'd also just like to remind you that our offices will be open as usual in the build up to, and in between the bank holidays, but closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
